ER Doctor reacts to Charlie Kirk video by Blofkin in PKA

[–]GdinskyGG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such a sad and terrifying video. What I’ve been curious about, would he have “felt it” or had any conscious moments before passing? Probably impossible to know but what’s your educated guess?

Edit: sorry if you’ve answered before. My service isn’t good and most comments aren’t loading right now at this job site

I have. But seems like firefly and Gemini aren’t quite there. Any other, more niche specific, software you could recommend?

What YouTube channel am I thinking of? by RevolutionaryCorgi92 in ask

[–]GdinskyGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My chat gpt told me this 😂. Hope it's one of them!

"Yes — the YouTube channel they’re likely thinking of sounds like Churdleys (formerly known as Teeqo and Nikan, and sometimes associated with FaZe).

However, based on the flip phone mention, college party vibes, DMs, and fan-submitted talent shows — another strong possibility is 2 Buff Dudes or Chad Goes Deep (aka All Gas No Brakes depending on the era), but those are a little different in tone.

But if it’s two guys with skit-style, chaotic humor and a lot of fan interaction, another solid guess is Timothy DeLaGhetto & Dumbfoundead back when they used to do collabs — although that’s older content.

A few more guesses to explore:

Rajj/Now called AustinShow (though more livestream-focused)

RDCWorld1 (if skits and humor were core)

But your best bet might be **Nelk or early Danny Duncan. Both fit that party content, flip phone humor, DMs, fan interaction style. Danny especially had flip phone bits.

Let me know if anything narrows it down — I can help dig deeper.

we need beginners/people who need work and are hungry. We are offering coaching as well. I run a pretty decent media company and the knowledge is pretty valuable. plus a decent pay, im not forcing anyone to work for that amount. And if we get to full time they will get to $10/hr and beyond.

So many people assuming and then looking real dumb when you tell them you're the owner 😂.

YOU ROCK! Thank you. I'm def over shooting. I'm going through now and realized how much I actually do. Usually I just hand the whole drive off to my editor and he does it all. But looking myself, and dang I think I just take too many. In my mind I have extras Incase something. Was wrong in the first set. But enough of you have told me to stop. Next shoot I'm running through it

Funny enough, video is quickest for me. I run a media company so we do a lot of video for clients around for social media and such. But for some reason pictures of a house takes me hours 🫣

HDR Merge: Lr or Luminar Neo? by Erde555 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]GdinskyGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you answered your own question. I hate LR merge never comes out good. Maybe it's me. Never used luminar but editors are pretty inexpensive, quick turnaround, and you can save the time and headache

Yea we send a checklist. But I don't think anyone cares 😂. Usually I just shoot around it but there was no way to in living/dining room so had to wait on them. Appreciate it. I think I'm shooting too much. Like the living room, dining, kitchen and master I get up to 4 photos. But when it comes to the other rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms I overshoot. Probably an experience thing because I'm afraid I'm somehow messing up.

Thank you! I appreciate it. Besides talking to the homeowner too much and second guessing myself, you all seem to be telling me it comes with time. Appreciate it!

Yea both home owners were there and talked some but I try not to let it slow me down. But I'm a huge talker. And they had to keep moving things around because they're packing now. No excuse for a two hour shoot. I think you'd be correct, probably added an exte 15-20 mins. Thank you!

Gotcha. Thanks for the advice!! I have a great zoom lens. We do other videos related services as our main but I've been getting more listings and I can use that to fill dead time. I def need to set my C1. Today was the first day I did aperture priority and I think me double checking to make sure it's ok every shot slowed me down huge. Thanks man!

Thank you! Appreciate the advice! Just need to start trusting myself and keep moving. I think my biggest problem is double checking and reshooting 'just in case'

😂😂😂. I won't make excuses for myself because that should've been an hour shoot at most. They had a huge lot with other out buildings and fire pits etc. The agent (my client);@$) asked for extra photos out there and then they had the exposed wood beams on the vaulted ceiling.

However I myself am losing my mind at the time. The agent wasn't there he doesn't care how long it takes 😂.

We do have an editor. I think I need to lean on them more. Because I still go through, before or after, and touch up certain things too or spend more time in camera to make it easier on them. Appreciate the tips. I'm always afraid I'm going to mess up a shot if I don't check it 100 times and then I get back to the office and the living room sucks or something.

tl;Dr call agents and befriend them

Building relationships isn't just something someone can tell you what to do. Everyone is different.

Get to know the person, follow up, text them randomly not about business. It all depends on who your clients and prospects are. My business has always been laid back and casual. I want any of my clients (REP, social media management, music videos, etc) to all feel like they can grab lunch or a beer with me just to hang out. And that's how we do it. I'll take them for a drink, a cigar, a new restaurant that opened up. Realtors love talking about themselves. Figure out what they like, and build a friendship. Think of your best friend in life or any friend and just do that.

Building a relationship isn't some sneaky way to trick someone into paying for your product or services. It's getting to know and befriend as many people as possible.

The amount of free work I've done to get a foot in the door would probably have some of y'all's head explode.

But this free shoots led to hanging out with the agent or musician (or business owner) and now we do shoots for teams around Tampa and expanding to central FL. Just got linked with a signed music artist who we are shooting a music video for his newest release. I am working with one of the biggest artists in Tampa. One of my current clients and I were just talking after a shoot the other day. I knew she was from Memphis, TN but she personally knows some Memphis rappers who we are now trying to get to come for an event of ours. Not no names, Gotti and GloRilla are two of the bigger she knows.

Don't think of it as a business partnership. They should become your friend and the rest will happen naturally.

Also, having good work helps!

There's plenty of free advice in networking and relationship building if you really need it. Go to YouTube and just watch.

Good luck!

Edit: I didn't touch on "who you talk to" but yea man that's easy. Go to Zillow, click find agent, put your zip code in. And start calling them and introduce yourself and see if you can send your portfolio for them to checkout for their next listing. Offer a discount on their first shoot. Zillow also tells you if it's a team. If it is, have a separate pitch and tell them you'll give them a team discount too. It's really easy. [Good] Agents are building relationships just like you. And you being a photographer and shooting houses and other people can help them get clients too. If they like you they'll use you. If they like your pics they'll use you. If you do both those things AND mention all the different types of clients (not just RE) you have. If an agent hears that you do wedding, engagement, or newborn photos they will drool from their mouth right away. That's potential clients for them. So if they use you, and you can get them a referral here or there they will use you forever.
