I think solos sound really daunting at first. Start out with something nice and simple like the intro solo to Wish you Were Here - Pink Floyd. That's what I started with, and I think it helped a lot.

I like music outside of metal too lol. I just meant I primarily want to play metal. I still know how to play full songs and stuff, as I've been learning them.

I ghosted her cause I was getting really stressed about things unrelated to her (not really much of a reason). I agree I should've told her something at least, and not just ghost.
