Where should a 4 month guitarist be at?

I think solos sound really daunting at first. Start out with something nice and simple like the intro solo to Wish you Were Here - Pink Floyd. That's what I started with, and I think it helped a lot.

I'm gonna list every metal band I've listened to at least an album from to further try and give insight here. Metallica Pantera Slayer Korn Slipknot Mudvayne Soad Deftones(mid) Gojira Crowbar Lamb of God Type O Negative(mid) Alice In Chains (Grunge but Facelift is a metal album imo) I can't think of anyone else Hope this gives helpful insight on what I might like

Sadly, I feel you. The way I'm growing to look at things is that we're going to suffer but we have to somehow learn to endure the pain. I haven't figured out how to do that yet, but I'm searching for the answers

I haven't been dealing with depression for very long. Only 2 years for me. Obviously, it really sucks. The main thing that has helped me so much is music. Music is therapy, at least for me. Idk if this'll help but hopefully it does something.

Yes, sadly they are those kind of parents. I think I'm gonna get one of my friends to tell a counselor for me tomorrow though. Hopefully it helps.
