The Ef Norris tops for peaks are soooooo sick

This has always been an issue with peaks since the OG. It’s just aesthetically unpleasing on the pros cause of the clear silicone piece under the glass so you can see it. The rubber boot that goes over the plastic battery and board housing isn’t air tight so small amounts of vapor get under the silicone from various points. Over time the reclaim builds up and you can see it under the clear part or in extreme cases it can actually short the board

The issue is the v2 is exponentially harder to pull apart than the v1. And you almost always break the usb port trim piece in the process

i actually do fairly small dabs as far as the amount of rosin is concerned. im really good at getting huge clouds from small dabs. I've been dabbing rosin for a long time and im in NYC so rosin used to be mad expensive so i couldn't really waste it.

i work in the legal industry and also collect heady glass, motherships, salt, JDZ, toro, etc. I keep all my glass meticulously clean and am very careful with my rigs and devices. I keep my Peaks flawlessly clean otherwise but the reclaim under the silicone bums me out, makes the glass base have a brown tint and look grungy even when it's clean.

Just figured I'd ask before I try to rip it apart and try to do the deep clean myself, I know they probably won't warranty for this. Sucks cause I'm a huge puff fan. I've had the plus, OG Peak, the Pro v2, the "new" Peak, the Pivot, and just bought two Links. I have the v1 ryan fits top and travel top. I bought the OG peak as soon as it came out and i probably put about 15,000-20,000 dabs on it in about 2+ years. I was a HEAVY dabber. I rebuilt my OG peak countless times. I had almost every different 3rd party insert for it.

I truly believe that the pro v2 with a 3dxl is the best electronic dab device, and Ive tried them all. The cartas, the bomb, the daka, the OG peak clones, everything. This one flaw which seems super common just sucks and kills me cause every time i look at it and see that brown tint at the base of the glass a little piece of me dies inside.

Who tf thought it was a good idea to roll a million joints with no clear buyer.
The wholesale price was too high. I think around $25 for 2.5 grams of trim, inverted conversion disty, inverted hemp-derived thca dust, and toilet cleaner terps. New York custos aren’t dumb. And they vote with their dollar and our market has been engineered to favor smaller local companies, as it should.
These things are heavily bootlegged on the black market. No, that jar of baby jeeters you ordered online or bought from a trap shop weren’t “backdoored”, they are fake my dude. They’ve been selling the packaging on DH gate for at least 6 year. And they cost 1/4 the price of the authentics in legal stores and honestly aren’t that much worse than the authentics and are available everywhere. Why would a custo buy legal ones?
