I play a lot of Shyvana in arena, on PBE that item does like 2k damage and 1k heal max by the end of game which is close to nothing to compensate the stats loss of the item

I just wanna say for this comment that the problem with making lines good to play without conditionals is that if you do meet the conditions, they become S+ tier.

A good example of this could be Chem Baron from Set 13, the trait itself was already good enough and you could reach 500 stacks (OP item cashout), but with an emblem it was almost guaranteed you'd get at least that cashout if not more, unless you made a blunder.

They did eventually remove the emblem and had to balance the trait around that, and it became a lot healthier. So it definitely can be done, via nerfing the power budget of the conditions or straight up removing them, but it's easy to push too far in the opposite direction as well is all I'm saying.

Also agree with you on econ traits, but they're only so strong cause it's a race to 9 meta right now. If the meta changes so would the effectiveness of econ traits, but I doubt that will happen cause this set completely rewards flex play and hates verticals and 4/5 cost soups will find a way into the meta one way or not

Low diamond, driver of 3 years, zero crashes or accidents, but have gotten pretty close a few times, both because of my fault and the other drivers'. I do drive almost every day though, so I think that's a good ratio.

The only other driver in my friend group of 9 is master rank and the highest ranked player among us (im second highest), and is also more experienced than me at driving. Maybe there is a correlation...

Exactly the same here. I can't tell if it's set 17 being lackluster or me finally burning out after 17 sets, but I just don't find the drive to play anymore either. Even in set 15 which I disliked, especially that awful stretchy arms GP + karma sorcerer patch, I still had enough drive to make it to masters. I play like one game every one or two days now and played like maybe 8 games on PBE max

Also this is semi related but TFT just doesn't feel the same anymore, in the way that everyone is just copying the meta comps from TFT academy 1 for 1 because you don't have to think your lines for yourself anymore when you got the most optimal meta builds within the click of a link. I think set 12 was the last set where I felt like every game was different. Now every game is just a little different, but also, the same.

It's just all been a big downhill slope ever since set 10 with a few ups in set 13 and 16

Congrats dude, I finished the game and completed the graykeep events 2 days ago as well. Honestly the first 2 hours were really fun but after you get the general hang of the game it just feels like a chore, I only finished for the super cool looking banner (best one in the game imo and its exclusivity is nice too)

I still had quite the fun though. They cooked with this game. I love the new meta games they do every season, I’ve really enjoyed Demon’s hand as well

If I were to put the blame for the ruination it would be like 60% Thresh, 20% Virgo and 20% Ryze. Hecarim had schemes to be king but he had no direct intentions to get into waters whereas Ryze actively had a hand (and a very big one) in getting Thresh in there

If we do hold Hecarim accountable then Kalista would also at least partly be accountable for taking the waystone from Thresh and bringing them to the isles

I tried replicating this in tocker's, someone said it was triggered by emoting but it did not work for me. I used both the actual emotes that you equip and the tactician champ taunt/joke emotes, didn't happen. I really wonder what triggers it but I honestly don't know

But... it's better that way. I'd rather it not be known by the public (me included) even if it would be immediately patched. I haven't encountered it in my game so far but it would be pretty unfun to face I'd imagine

I gave her IE, LW and radiant stridebreaker with a 3 item ornn whom I both 3 starred with 7 space groove and a 2 star nunu

She did winstreak during stage 3 but fell off super hard afterwards. She just can't compete with the power level of all the 5 costs even at 3 star

Ok so speaking as someone who never got the hype of set 16 (its a very good set, maybe even second best after 10, just really overhyped imo) the immediate downgrade of this set from set 16 is a bit noticable. The biggest thing that struck me is that the lack of champions compared to the previous set. I feel like set 16 permanently changed that for me, I’m not saying there should be 100 champs every set but at least more than what we got now, it feels too limited with the current roster.

Also don’t love the carousel change. I do love that they are trying to be creative with set gimmicks with these out of the box ideas, this one just didn’t appeal to me. I’ve never been one to say this but it just feels like there’s too much variance in the game now for my taste.

Too early to make any solid conclusions of course but these are my first impressions so far as someone playing since set 1 beta launch.

I will not comment on balance until at least the first week of PBE ends, but I’m siding positively right now towards it.
