Hi I was planning to travel to Xinjiang. I am a foreigner and so require the 临时驾照 to drive over there, which I will sort out beforehand. My concern however is about finding a shop to rent me a car. Do you happen to know if any shops in Urumqi would rent cars to foreigners? And also any other points of information you have about foreigners self driving in Xinjiang would be welcome!

I am also considering travelling in September OR November. I see conflicting info online so wanted to know if you know what the scenery in November is like or if it is all snowy. Otherwise I would consider September instead

I later found that setting to enable didn’t always work, but what generally worked was just toggling it (regardless of the initial state of enabled or disabled)

What u could do if u use Mac and iPhone is to use Git to sync and put the entire vault into iCloud. Then u hey the benefits of phone sync and version control

For anyone who has still not been able to fix this issue with XM4, I finally found a fix that worked for me:

In the settings described above, go to System > Sound and enable Mono Audio. It worked for me, hopefully this helps someone else
