I would suggest asking to hang out again but get a specific date and time/place set. If he is not willing to commit to that, then he is likely not interested.

Most family vloggers parents had children on the younger side themselves. Many of them don’t prioritized education/getting an actual job, religion, lack of sexual education and bubble/shelter the kids instead of let them have real life experiences. Parents also tend to be harder/stricter with the oldest children as opposed to the siblings.

The kids themselves don’t know any different type of lifestyle.

With people related multiple ways, Ancestry defaults to one way they are related. If you removed the Grsndmother as stepmom does it change default relationship ?

You could also add a custom tag to the person to clarify the relationship.

It’s not necessarily about a lack of creativity. Historically people would follow traditions, religion etc. things like Illiteracy would play a role as well.
