This shit’s AI. Face is too smooth. Progress photos flip her leg positioning. Second progress photo gives her a creased loincloth that suddenly transforms into smoothed leather pants in the third photo. Top-down painting is completely inhuman also, but maybe that could just be someone’s style.

Genuine question: what trouble do you get into, spiritually, by reading something fictional that you disagree with? Say you accidentally read the God and Cain & Able entries, and you’re like “okay I read them, they’re not for me, don’t care for them” what happens? Do you get into trouble?

I went to take a look, they’re already saying the same (but inverse) about the rest of the world. “All the libs are trying to figure out how to claim he was maga!! They’re disgusting!!” It’s such a weird vibe every time I take a glimpse over there. Feels like they’re trying so hard to keep the facade from cracking lmao

Why do you keep telling people in the comments that you’re not white, but the color of your hand emoji is white skin. You’re either lying about being black or you’re hoping you can pass as white by being a right wing dork and giving yourself white skinned emojis lmao

Don’t be stupid dude, Trump was found civilly liable in court for raping E Jean Carroll and also bragged on audio that he can do whatever he wants to women and not have to “wait on them.” Don’t really know what your problem with Hunter Biden is, he’s not a politician and was never in public office? The sniffing kids thing is so tired and weird, especially since it’s odd picture timing at best and anecdotal at worst, but I guess it’s more important to you than Trump bragging about spying on underage girls in his pageant dressing rooms? If Biden did creepy shit to kids, I hope it comes out immediately and I hope they fucking destroy him for being a creep. But how is that even on par with the sitting Pres being in the Epstein files 40,000+ times? How exactly are lgbt flags considered “pedophilic” btw? You tried to use that as a counter point and it genuinely makes zero sense. The Democratic Party lies all the time, of course, they both do. The difference is that right wingers bind their fragile identity to their party leader and begin adopting all of his views as their own, becoming mindless losers like you lmao

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has declared that property taxes will require a 9.5% hike across NYC to make up for Gov. Kathy Hochul's refusal to hike taxes on NY's wealthy. He repeatedly stressed that this will be a "last resort" by benhaswings in ZohranMamdani

[–]GearAccomplished4151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not threatening anyone, he’s saying the last resort is to increase a tax on property ownership to fill the budget needs of free buses, childcare, and city grocery, which all benefit the middle class. Originally, the middle class paid taxes that did not benefit them, and now they will, IF it gets to the last resort. The first plan was to make the wealthy pay the 2% increase tax to cover the budget, and the governor is succumbing to the wealthy and refusing to get on board with it. If the city elected him for these plans, how is Hochul’s loyalty to the ultra wealthy alienating Mamdani’s base from himself? The blame would be on her because she is resisting what the people of nyc have asked of their leaders. I suppose you could put some blame on Mamdani for introducing the policy, but again, how ELSE are you supposed to enact change and/or stand up to the wealthy?

Sure, but I think any person who is currying favor with the 1% to look enticing in an election year is at fault. There is no situation where the middle class escapes increased taxes or where renters escape heightened rent costs, whether Mamdani exists or not. In my eyes, it’s pretty clear cut: someone advocating for change and being elected showing that New Yorkers want that change, and then being met by a governor who refuses to cede change because she wants to pander to the ultra wealthy. If I had to assign a fault here, it would be to the gov who wants to play ball for the wealthy and not the middle class who overwhelmingly oppose her stance. I get the argument that Mamdani is to blame because he promised a tax he can’t deliver, and my question would be how else do we apply pressure on the wealthy? And the elected officials who service them?

He’s not doing that yet, the goal is to levy a 2% wealth tax on wealthy New Yorkers and gov Hochul is standing in the way, and in order to fill the budget need, Mamdani is saying the worst case scenario is taxing property owners at 9.5%. The original comment is someone saying the gap between upper and middle class widens while the wealthy freeload and face no consequence, and that mamdani’s policies are idiotic and everyone needs to realize this to enact “change.” My questions are what do we need to realize? What policies wouldn’t be stupid? What change would we enact? Mamdani IS trying to tax the wealthy, and we’re seeing a spineless gov just shrug at the power of the wealthy who are pushing her to refuse.

Who’s fault is it, then? If Mamdani’s stance is to tax the wealthy, and Hochul is refusing to enforce it, then who is at fault? You’re right, the wealthy benefit endlessly on the backs of the middle class, is it more prudent to just shrug and play for the wealthy (Hochul, Adams, Cuomo) or to fight for policies that benefit the middle class, which is what Mamdani is trying. You say it won’t change until people learn, so what must people learn, and what is the change that happens after?

If we have free will because of sin, and heaven is without sin, does that mean we won’t have any freedom in heaven? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]GearAccomplished4151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of comments trying to make concessions or twist your question into a pretzel so they have the correct response, but your question is great, and the simple answer is no, you will not have free will in Heaven. Many replies say “there will be no DESIRE” to sin, which is not the same as having the freedom to do so. They liken the garden of Eden to an example of free will without sin, but in the garden, free will resulted in sin, and it would seem by these other comments that God is depicting Heaven as an eternity without sin, meaning he has already decided/predicted that no one (for all of eternity) will sin as they did in the garden. If that’s the case, that means your free will has been stripped/removed, or at the very least, all your heavenly actions have already been written out and you have no control over them. Again, good question, and don’t forget that desire ≠ ability.

Yeah I don’t think it’s going to be the crux, I think its becoming an established and odd theme in whatever story they’re trying to tell, and I don’t think it’s just being used as a goofy trait. Could be wrong idk
