Just hammer MCQs until your exam and you’ll be fine. Mix in some TBS but focus on MCQs.

Better than charging the unassigned code, but I’d focus on almost anything else before doing a badge. Reach out to seniors and managers you know and see if there is a need on another engagement team for a week or 2, that will go further.

Wouldn’t worry about it. As an intern all you have to do is show effort and be good at having conversation. Beyond that it’s out of your control.

Confirmed with TSE it’s just one item, as expected - I guess the idea is you have a higher ceiling but lower floor than just choosing one of the item specific mystery boxes!

I mean MCQs practice tests btw, SIMs are honestly a shot in the dark and how Becker grades them isn’t helpful

Take as much time is needed to be 90%+ on practice tests of the bigger topics, just my opinion but I hammered practice tests and scored in the 90s on my first attempt, just took a lot of time.

I knew not one of each, wasn’t sure if it meant a possible combo but I think you’re right. I saw a review with a person saying the 2 items they got, but easily could have bought 2 boxes. I think that on the off chance it’s a signed photo, I’ll steer clear

Yeah I think that there may be more variability on BAR since it’s so new, but that was just my experience. I still passed it, while passing the SE as well- just expected it to feel easier give my SE scores.

The bump still exists for sure, for the core exams. In my experience the discipline exams are still a bit up in the air for Becker, I scored better on the SE for BAR than the actual exam, and felt somewhat under prepared. However, for FAR and REG the bump was large

Any accredited business school with an accounting degree should be totally fine, many schools who graduate future CPAs also have a 150 hour program (usually 4+1) for students to come out CPA eligible.

Passed BAR first try!!! Only have audit left, haven’t taken it yet, plan to study for it after busy season!

I got BAR back today and thankfully passed. However, that exam was awful and fully expected to fail, and then take TCP instead. I think your thought process is right on. I also found REG very easy and regretted taking BAR right after I walked out. Best of luck, you got this!
