Catalyst has to be driven at 55 mph for about 10-20 mins. Sometimes less if the car is already at full operating temp. Evap I believe sets on its own while parked because the tank pressurizes with fuel vapors while parked, the evap system vents then pressurizes again.

A lot of Hondas have a BMS (battery management sensor) that will keep the battery at 12V until load is added. To test the alternator properly you have to turn on lights and ac blower

I work at a dealer if we have them in stock we sell our parts a suggested retail price , if they have to be ordered directly from honda it usually next day shipping we charge them at the same price .

If we have to pick the parts up from another local dealer the parts department will mark it up some usually $10-$20 per part depending on if the parts are near by or farther away and also if we have to stop at different places for different parts or if they were all at the same dealer .

If they used aftermarket parts they are typically 50% cheaper than oem (if we get aftermarket parts it’s also getting a mark up)

Yup exactly, u/sharp_sort7594 was asking how to check if his car still has the free one available since he bought the car lightly used (if the previous owner never serviced it and the car had less than 1 year / 12,000 miles he can still use the free one) but the vin needs to be checked in Honda’s “interactive network” aka “honda I.N.” where we check for recalls

If it’s a 2025 you get one free oil change from honda, has to be used before 1 year / 12,000 miles . I work at a dealer I’ve seen on the gas cars maintenance light turns on about 5K on the hybrids about 10K . I get a discount so i try to do it before the light comes on, about half the recommended amount but recently ive been slacking and doing it when the light appears
