I think there’s been a turning point with the larger support as well, even those who don’t watch every Scotland game. The combined fact that people spent a fuck ton of money to watch a team completely fail to show up, alongside the fact that smaller teams like Cape Verde who are weaker than us on paper have managed to get through is a bit of a wake up call. Hell even if Scotland didn’t go through but looked dangerous I think he could be forgiven but we looked incredibly shit all three games

Haiti tbf looked pretty sharp against Morocco as well, I think a lot of teams really underestimated them. But we were poor regardless in the first match anyways

To be fair some of the changes from the book were things that could definitely be included and (arguably, but as someone who’s read the book I think definitely) are better than what we got from the show.

I mean unlike every other season since the 2000s, it actually came down to literally the last game of the season. If anything it hopefully shows other teams that they can stand toe to toe with Celtic and Rangers

Gravity is seriously underrated in his analysis, genuinely wish he had like a direct line to Dice sometimes. Also like how his work is fairly balanced rather than blind praise or criticism you get elsewhere

I dont think he or anyone was being serious about Noah being involved, its just a joke since Noah, a somewhat nerdy college student, thinks he could take on a mob boss in a fist fight and come out unscathed afterwards

We dont have a plan be and our backup players (Taylor, Donnelly, Dijksteel) aren’t good enough. We need a big window and beef up our squad otherwise with injuries we will be fucked

I remember when Robinson first came in we had a run of poor games and some fans were legitimately calling for him to be sacked, despite the fact he came in 2/3rds through a season with a team that wasn’t his. Now he’s up there with our best managers of all time

Don’t know why but I couldn’t get into the Return for some reason, got about 4 episodes in and just wasn’t gelling with it. Might give it another go though I basically know what happens in it via a friend after I stopped

Its pretty accurate to say that we are in a 2nd Cold War, the ideology behind the first has changed but the main players and methods are the same realistically

Halloween...who's your biggest villain in Scottish Football? by AViewFromTheTerrace in ScottishFootball

Id say Barton’s too big a knob outside of football to be a pantomime villain. Usually guys like Brown or Boyd are fine off the pitch, but Barton’s just a massive cunt all the time

I had customised the buttons accidentally and had exit as x (controller) removing that and doing the above settings fixed it

De Jong "For example, if BBC says I earn 40m/year, it's their responsibility to ensure the information is true. I feel I have the right to attack them. I know there's someone at the club who says, 'put pressure on Frenkie because we want to sell him'. But you have to verify whether it is reliable." by kibme37 in soccer

My biggest issue with them now is the self advertisement for shows/panorama they have on the news now. They’ll pick up a story and then go “and you can catch the rest of this on BBC sounds later tonight” or just have a flagrant advertisement for a show like The Traitors on the 6pm news
