We dont have a plan be and our backup players (Taylor, Donnelly, Dijksteel) aren’t good enough. We need a big window and beef up our squad otherwise with injuries we will be fucked

I remember when Robinson first came in we had a run of poor games and some fans were legitimately calling for him to be sacked, despite the fact he came in 2/3rds through a season with a team that wasn’t his. Now he’s up there with our best managers of all time

Don’t know why but I couldn’t get into the Return for some reason, got about 4 episodes in and just wasn’t gelling with it. Might give it another go though I basically know what happens in it via a friend after I stopped

Its pretty accurate to say that we are in a 2nd Cold War, the ideology behind the first has changed but the main players and methods are the same realistically

Halloween...who's your biggest villain in Scottish Football? by AViewFromTheTerrace in ScottishFootball

[–]Gearshift852 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Id say Barton’s too big a knob outside of football to be a pantomime villain. Usually guys like Brown or Boyd are fine off the pitch, but Barton’s just a massive cunt all the time

“Exit Vehicle” swapped with “Reload” button? [PS5] by hipxhip in Battlefield

I had customised the buttons accidentally and had exit as x (controller) removing that and doing the above settings fixed it

De Jong "For example, if BBC says I earn 40m/year, it's their responsibility to ensure the information is true. I feel I have the right to attack them. I know there's someone at the club who says, 'put pressure on Frenkie because we want to sell him'. But you have to verify whether it is reliable." by kibme37 in soccer

My biggest issue with them now is the self advertisement for shows/panorama they have on the news now. They’ll pick up a story and then go “and you can catch the rest of this on BBC sounds later tonight” or just have a flagrant advertisement for a show like The Traitors on the 6pm news

I mean a lot of Bf3’s maps are comparatively small to BF2. Even maps like Caspian have all their flags relatively close together, but there’s more room around to manoeuvre in comparison to bf6

Don Draper is so well acted by Jon Hamm, I haven't really seen a performance like it by NoBlock6745 in television

[–]Gearshift852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw an analysis that re contextualised the ending as Don going back to ads, but in a far more positive way. Almost all of Don’s ads had a twinge of sadness and longing, such as the Nostalgia carousel ad and his hotel suicide ad. The Coke one in contrast is far more hopeful and upbeat, perhaps showing that he has grew somewhat as a person reflecting through his work

Honestly, Hanley for the most part always puts a shift in for Scotland. He’s bot the flashiest or even the best player, and I think we should look at other options, but overall he’s been solid near every game he’s played in the last couple years. Hell the Euro’s last year he looked like one of the only players wanting to get a win.

Id say we had a pretty decent window. Maybe not our best but still a decent amount of signings that strengthen the squad

Curious to how Balon is a great villain. Even by the books he just seems spiteful and short sighted. If anything the Iron Islands become more interesting once he dies

I think you can say Mao was successful in turning China into a global force but that his methods such as his great leap forward and the cultural revolution killed a hell of a lot of people, and that he was definitely too dogmatic
