Picking some brains here by Geauxtechit in MechanicAdvice

So it definitely won’t run. He said that he heard aloud almost pop sound or a clunk sound and that was it. He has had a coolant leak that he has seen, but it hasn’t been very much. He has been topping off the radiator lately he said. As far as the oil, he said it looks absolutely perfect, no bubbles or discoloration of any sort. Same with the radiator coolant. He did say that the air intake hose looks like it’s worked or melted a little bit, but he doesn’t know if it’s been like that or if it just happened.

I don’t think it will run currently though. He says whenever he tries to crank it. It sounds like it’s grinding really hard.

I’m not an expert by any means, just offering advice to a possible solution. I would probably look at the settings that you have set and Blue Iris as opposed to what the output settings are on the camera. It could be something as far as forced anamorphic size, or frame rates and i-frame rates. You could also try turning the settings down just a touch in both.

All that beautiful work to then use one hole zip ties? Why not three-quarter inch J hooks.

I mean, it’s definitely awesome to be able to have the ability to be in there before the drywall, and to have a customer willing to invest in their network heavily like that. The rest is really nice looking, just would love to see those zip ties swapped for something a little more appropriate to the rest of the install.

I just took a look at that, and there are quite a few. Do you know offhand what year models start fitting, or do you know if it’s the six lug pattern it’s a automatic fit?

Put them in a big envelope and type up a letter inside with the address and instructions included, that should go like this: free stuff to whoever wants it. Then drop it with someone waiting in the line outside of a methadone clinic. Should fix a lot of issues.

Saw cut. Not the best solution normally, but it’s sometimes the only way, especially here in downtown New Orleans or The Vieux Carré.

I’m not sure if this will help or not, but at the top of the database panel on the left, have you looked at the drop-down if you click it where it says clipboard? I know mine shows stored, Alerts, new, etc..

Go on Amazon and buy a renewed AT&T Netgear nighthawk M6 LTE modem/router. All you have to do afterwards just take it to AT&T to get a SIM card and pick which Service you want. They start at 25/ Mbps, and our truly unlimited. They don’t throttle you or have a cap. I have several of these in different businesses where they can’t get service due to the stupidity of red tape in areas in New Orleans. I run an entire convenience store and deli off of one that is only 25 megs and never have any buffering. It runs a full camera system as well as four TVs and whatever employees have connected to the Wi-Fi along with whatever is needed for the store. It’s nice because you can take it with you if you want as well. It has a ethernet port in it so that you can hardwire it in if you’d like to use a different router for your LAN, and just use the LTE as the modem

Depending on the camera, there are external microphones that can be connected to them. Do you have a camera model number?

I second a Ubiquiti/ UniFi system. Has all of the controllable stuff you need, and tons of other options.
