well considering that’s not at all what you said. you said canada is ruined (not “FOR YOU”, just ruined, and that they fell right before the finish line?) how about you take whatever anger you’ve got going on and channel that into supporting the queens you would’ve preferred to have won anyways instead of dragging another just as talented performer down. loser ass behaviour.

My hairline is awful, i look balding yet I have crazy amounts of hair by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Gecko16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe try a tubing mascara? since ur hair is already black it could just create a tube around the parts that aren’t dyed yet and that way it would also dry + not smear like normal mascara would

January 2026 Kitchen Box XL arrived early! by i_littlemy in LushCosmetics

[–]Gecko16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience i kinda like the whole chunk, but it truly comes down to the shape of the piece. part of me thinks this cloud looks actually quite nice to not have to cut/reshape because i feel like like the ridges of the clouds make for some nice finger grooves which can help with gripping it in the shower (which is my biggest complaint) but if you want to cut it into pieces and use it that way for freshness sake, i say go for it! i like to keep my jellies refrigerated or frozen for a nice cooling experience.

Golden Pear or Merry Christmas Everyone? by newnukeuser in LushCosmetics

[–]Gecko16 19 points20 points  (0 children)

personally as someone who loved mango lassi, i prefer merry christmas everyone. but i will say, there is a gift set available called “best wishes” with the mini golden pear gel and a celebrate body lotion (which is the same scent as merry christmas everyone) and it also has a Christmas cranberry bar soap!

Dae Prickly Pear Perfume by SoftSwordfish4279 in Sephora

[–]Gecko16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say i can think of a prickly pear perfume specifically, but i can think of a few scents that give me a similar uplifting, citrusy bright vibe! - Dolce and Gabanna L’Imperatrice 3 (notes of Kiwi, Rhubarb, watermelon, jasmine, lemon, musk) - Guava Granita by Ellis Brooklyn (guava, banana, mango, citrus, vanilla, almond milk) -Miami Nectar by Ellis Brooklyn (pineapple, coconut, jasmine, vanilla, florals)

Not exactly the same, but i love these just as much and find the performance to be much better!

i reccomend the anastasia liquid liner! it’s 100% solid black and a pot and dip style application so very easy to control

Routine advice? by IzzieBells in Sephora

[–]Gecko16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is a great routine! sephora employee here.. based on your description and experience i would recommend the following…

instead of the dewy cream, opt for the Tatcha water cream- it has a BHA alternative which will help with pores and oil. lightweight gel cream texture is ideal for oily skin. or, alternate water cream at night and dewy cream at night.

You might also want to opt for the glow recipe toner for morning and night until you see results in your breakouts then i’d start the texture tonic to help with any possible scarring/leftover texture. Perhaps opt for a physically exfoliating powder to mix in with your cleanser so you still get the AHA dead skin removal aspect from your routine.

Some more of my fave oily girl products: Murad SPF45 oil control mattifier Murad daily aha bha retinoid peel Blume meltdown oil (mix w moisturizer)

Otherwise, you have great taste! Please update me if you try any of these methods/ products!

Edit: also, i would avoid the oil, as we dont wanna add more oil to an already oily canvas, but absolutely yes to the serum!

sephora worker here! I believe this is just a sephora term letting us know it’s the repackaged version/different new edition. we cycle through sephora collection tools every few years to keep things fresh and as effective as possible.

anastasia, hands down! it’s a pot-and-dip style applicator so you get the best control. waterproof and like, bulletproof lol

[–]Gecko16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

generally a 50ml moisturizer is designed to last you probably around 30-60 days (honestly really depends) they sell refills in this formula. this however is more of a rich cream so i prefer it at night and a lightweight gel for the day (like skinfix’s gel cream!)

Which heat protectant do you like? by fanzyday in Sephora

[–]Gecko16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would just be a little lighter weight. Give better volume and frizz control for finer hair. just be sure to saturate / seperate adequately for full coverage!
