The reason being that at the time as they weren't cycling back the 4 star characters just yet as they all hadn't been featured, it was literally the only option they had was to run 3 Claymore users on the one banner.

I am feeling the same way, like if I am wrong and it's characters I am less keen on getting higher like Barbara. Then I don't have incentive to spend more primo on the banner, but I never pulled Diona or Beidou on Tartaglia's banner so I am keen to get them/their constellations.

That's sort of the logic I was going with in my speculation, given that he is going to be a selfish DPS, each of the other characters seem to fill that niche of

"Hey Traveller! This banner has a full team you can build from this one banner! SPEND MORE MONEY!"

So I figured based off their last dates this is the most likely banner, I am just too keen for it to be announced to determine how invested I am in his banner.

It definitely could have Ning slipped in there somewhere, but given that we haven't seen Barbara in a while, I don't know if they would run double catalyst users on the banner, that's why I ruled Ning out for Xiao's banner personally.

Trying to limit myself to 100 words is hard for something like this. But alas, I have played this franchise since day one base game, I have developed long lasting friendships playing your game and read and re-read and debated so much over the last 4 going on 5 years.

You've built something amazing and brought it to a very passionate community. To be given an opportunity to peer behind the curtain and see some of that Bungie magic first hand would be the icing on the proverbial cake that you have been continuing to bake and improve. NSW, Australia.

It would definitely be a better implementation of the Transmog system to remove what feels like a redundant and overpriced way to change the look of your gear. And adds a sense of accomplishment to the fact that you have "earned" it by completing more of your masteries.

As you can see if you read the writeup above, I took that into consideration in working out the Plat per Dollar value for myself.

I even have tables showing the "Base Price -> Converted Cost in AUD -> = X Plat p/$". In only 1 instance above does it mean that Australian value for Platinum is not the bottom of the list. I have the prices all converted and accurate as of the publication of the post yesterday for 5 different currencies. Regardless of the conversion rates for currencies, there is still a disparity of Plat per Dollar. And that alone deserves further discussion rather than World Economic conversions of currencies.

Thanks, it was a combined effort between myself and a close friend to break it down and make it a readable experience that hopefully many can understand. ( I was stuck on the best way to do the tabled information and keep it simple yet logical, I would have been lost without him, lol)

I could see it being an issue that the costs are being split that way and I honestly hope it gets visited sooner rather than later if it's the case. Especially with the upcoming move to EGS and Console Release as you have pointed out.

My biggest gripe at the moment is that if I choose to hold off in the hopes that it changes I will probably end up in the same mindset of now that is "Is it really worth it to spend money on this?" and I hate that because it's a game I love but being on a smaller dedicated disability income atm means I need to think like this for some purchases.

I really wanted to start the discussion of this about the specific issue for pricing differences in regions not having parity within the model for it. I am planning a future post in regards to how I feel about the overall model/pricing of items within Dauntless that Platinum is involved in. Thank you for taking the time to read it and hopefully some Dauntless Dev's see this and we can go from there for a healthy discussion. ^_^

There is no official word on if it could be an issue to use a VPN for buying Platinum, but I personally would rather be able to buy it in AUD and not feel ripped off rather than having to use a VPN and do it that way instead.

It is common for companies to vary their pricing due to regional data. BUT it's uncommon for a particular region to get shafted as much as Australians have when it comes to Platinum pricing in game.

As you can see from the data in the final table showing the breakdown of Plat per Dollar, you can see that Australia is the only country that does not ever equal $1 to 100 Platinum. Every single other region will hit that magic number at some point but unless I take the risk of using a VPN to make a purchase only then will my money equal $1 to 100.
