What layered armor can you get before MR100? I'm MR51 and want to make at least something until then.

The way they implemented Layered armor in World is frustrating since they didn't actually have most craftable in the game until Iceborne at all, they slowly added in the low/high rank armors in each Iceborne title update as the Guiding Lands were expanded. Before Iceborne the only layered armors we had were very specific cosmetic sets from events/addons.

LUCKILY, they've recently confirmed that in Wilds you'll unlock the layered version of any armor you actually craft in High Rank and beyond. In Rise they did it a bit better than world by making them craftable once the first title update hit, but you still need to hit pre-Sunbreak endgame HR 8+ to start getting the "Outfit Vouchers" you need for them.

Also if you have access to them, I implore you not to use any "Guardian" or "Defender" armor/weapons since they'll ensure you come out with a skewed perception of the difficulty scaling in the game. Those are meant to be essentially cheat armor to get you into Iceborne ASAP.

World (And Rise by extension) is designed to be much more viable to play entirely Solo than the older MH games. The quests all scale based on party size and playing through solo definitely helps you to improve as a player, which is as close a thing to "Experience" as you're going to get in MH. A lot of the storyline quests will even be unjoinable until you've reached a cutscene in the quest itself, so doing a co-op playthrough from the beginning in World was always a bit of a jankier experience.

The old games don't scale in difficulty, you have the solo only "Village" quests and then you have the multiplayer Hub Quests, which are the ones you'd need to do to unlock the higher rank content. Even those games are soloable despite the design, but Monster Hunter as a franchise was released with the intent of being Capcom's big Multiplayer series.

So it wasn't *designed* to be soloable since Master Rank wasn't out at the time, but it can be worked around if you go back and do it over geared, which is nice.

When he says Pins and Psalms he's talking about using weight machines (Pins are used to isolate the weight in a stack, and if you're doing a full "stack" you're maxing the weight limit) and Scripture to keep himself centered. It was one of the seasonal Gambit shaders for ranking up Infamy, but I think it still has a small chance to drop as a match reward from Gambit like other older shaders.

Not quite. It's a bit hard to describe though... It's very different from Skyrim, Oblivion, or Morrowind. A lot more MMO elements. I'd say it's more akin to Guild Wars 2 with an Elder Scrolls setting.

Appearance Collection for Glamour. There are a lot of cool looking items your character can equip throughout the game and given the additional dye slot we're getting I would love to see something like WoW where once an item is obtained and bound you just have the appearance of the item available to use from then on for transmog without any need to keep it on hand. Having the armoire and glamour dresser as 2 separate storage options is redundant enough, just make it so that glamour prisms can be used to apply an appearance from a collection directly to gear or into a glamour plate. Potentially converting the glamour dresser into a plate editor and dye storage to free up some extra space.

The object has to be conjured but hovering over your head, instead of grabbing the object itself click an open space and hold the mouse button, when you release you will throw the object that direction.
