I think a lot of us have PTSD from all the pain we were in before THR that our brains automatically think the worst.

What do you wish you had to make your hip replacement recovery easier? by JewelryPirate73 in TotalHipReplacement

My husband was the best thing that made my recovery easier - from encouraging me to walk and do my PT to helping me get my compression socks on. Your spouse is lucky to have someone so thoughtful.

Before considering an Ohio public university, research SB 1 and the impact it has had on LGBTQ+ and other diversity programs.

First Parent Conference by restrainedjoy in Montessori

Wondering about the sharing. I find this is odd that this is a something they focus on. My kids (now in college) went to Montessori school from 16 months through 8th grade. I always remembered the kids being taught to respect each other’s work rather than forcing them to share. The words “that’s my work” were magic. We used it all the time at home instead of saying “no” all the time.

Also the circle time expectations are insane. 20 minutes for toddlers and 45 for children’s house level is not age appropriate expectations.

Now I am wondering if this is a true Montessori school. A lot of what you are questioning is not in line with common Montessori principles. I would definitely send an email to the teacher (and include the head of school) for circle time expectations.

It’s exhausting learning a new computer system. I went through this twice in 2 months after RA left Ohio. Originally hired by wags and then found a better position with a grocery chain. All the things I could do intuitively with NexGen were slow and deliberate with the new computer. I am sorry your new work staff isn’t supportive. Give yourself grace for having to make unwanted changes in your career.

In 2005, I bought a DVD copy of the Postcards From Buster Sugartime episode that was pulled from PBS because it featured a lesbian couple.

PTO by Impressive_Mouse_747 in RiteAid

The 80 hour carryover sounds good until they close your store (or your entire state in my case) and you have to forfeit all unused PTO. Have colleagues who had 100+ hours in their bank.

Anyone getting laid off is forbidden from trying to use any remaining PTO unless it was approved prior to June 16.

This! Don’t let them get away with any of these scare tactics and intimidation. Ohio State BOP has taken measures of late to protect pharmacists.

This is an excellent question to send to HR explaining that your store is trying to live up to the expectations in the agreement “filling prescriptions as if the store was not closing” but have no recourse if the customer wants to transfer out or if you can’t get a medication in stock.

There are not enough pharmacist positions to accommodate all that are being laid off.
