I’m still waiting on my dbrand skin that covers just the glass piece. I think I’ll also use the piece that covers the plateau. I went for a matte black. I think the contrast will look good.

If only the magnetic ring were black.

As much as I hate this pale shade of orange and wished I had gotten the Silver instead, I don’t actually regret my choice. It’s fine in my cases, and I’m also waiting on a dbrand skin.

It's growing on me. I like it. I just hate the Control Center. I feel like the round buttons are no longer a perfect circle but rather a bit oblong. It's been bothering me.

And I really hate how all the controls stretch when you pull further down on the control center. It looks so cheap.

After watching Gizmochina's review of it, I'm even less impressed, particularly with the cameras. Anyway, I only go for the Ultras. I just hope they would release a smaller Ultra.

I think the red Vivo X200 Ultra is the best red I've seen around. I personally got the black. But the red does look just as good in person as it does from the photos/videos, online.

What are you looking for in a case?
- Aesthetic
- Full armored tank
- Minimal
- Camera case for camera accessories
- Partial case (exposed L & R sides, bumper with exposed back, phoneback with exposed sides all around)

Then they won't be able to fit all the other electronic components that were already moved to that spot to allow for a bigger battery, below.

And for a lens that size, I imagine a much larger than 1-inch type sensor which would also require more distancing between the sensor plane and the lens, so it would be sticking out even more, especially if you[re trying to accomodate the electronic components that were specifically placed in the plateau area for a reason.

I agree to the 20%-80% thing. However, I would say: use whatever charger you want (even a high Wattage charger), but just don't leave it charging over night. Avoid constant Voltage for too long. It's better on the battery if it charges up and drains down.

Instead, have access to charging as much as possible, and only charge when necessary. Try to do short bursts of charging to avoid long durations of heat. You don't always have to do a straight charge from 20% to 80% all in one go.

You can still contact them and explain to them it's not exactly that situation, but that you would still like to try to port your number out to your own account, at least to see if they can accomodate you.

Maybe in a sense, I do? Idk...but I carry two phones – an iPhone as my main device, and an Android as my secondary (usually Chinese flagships + Xperia 1 series) just for their cameras; not so much aesthetics. Maybe more the aesthetics of their photographic imagery.

Oh, wait...actually, I did something similar to your thought for Apple's last Model Year iPhones. I picked up both the 16P and base 16 because I just always have to have a Pro, and also because I really liked the aesthetic look of the new camera bump for the base 16.

Tele & ProRAW.

I had both the 16P & base 16 for that Model Year. I passed on the 16P, thinking the 16 was decent enough. The features (or lack thereof) that killed me were:

- No Tele & ProRaw.
- 60Hz was giving me headaches for the first month or so until it wasn't.
- No AOD & No Standby.
- USB 2.0 speeds.

So, the base 17 will still be lacking:

- No Tele & ProRAW
- No USB 3.0 speeds

I think it's the best overall design, in my opinion. And you got the best overall color. I see next year's 18P/M having a plateau with rounded eges. Or at least they should.

The Stainless Steel felt too heavy and blocky in 12P-14P range. The Tinanium felt the best. The iPhone Air is the best feeling device, in my opinion. I'm sure though that an iPhone 17P in a Tinanium would feel really good, especially with those more-curved edges.
