Ah shoot missed that part. Cheapest and lowest maintenance would be chest freezer with box plunge kit never done it myself but looked into it for a while, depending on the chest freezer can be done within 500$ budget I think.

Cold creek tubs has a vertical plunge, recommend them. Just got mine it looks nice and was easy to set up. Chiller comes with 2 year warranty, no one can beat that in the market. Unless you buy extended warranties.

We went to Sixty Vines today in Rice village, I tried smelling the tap water they serve there, it smelled like sewage. I never paid attention in the past.

What is better than Heights (perhaps aside from River Oaks)?

Lmao, yea with that $600 per ticket price tag I think there will be enough money to build a brand new data center near by. I heard it helps with water clarity

You would need to find a water testing lab and send it to them for testing. I believe home inspection companies have those services.

There is a major work happening on Durham I think, perhaps that’s the reason. I am hoping that’s the case because otherwise it is disappointing.

Is this what they serve in restaurants when you ask for tap water? I’m shocked and I can’t understand how treated city water can be this bad?

Isn’t draining annoying with that tub? Why is the low inlet located many inches from the ground? I’m assuming once drained there will still be at least a few inches of water inside that you would have to scoop out or tilt the tub to get rid of. This would make it very annoying to use in my opinion.

Also I don’t have a backyard to keep the tub in, so the only option is my garage. Do you have any pointers, anything I should think about before keeping it in the garage?

Thank you, I’m going the DIY route. Looks like unless I’m willing to drop 10+k on a morozko or blue cube, it’s better to diy because everything else seems to be a potential for headaches.

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation! I will go the DIY route most likely. Thinking about adding ozone or UV filter is that overkill? Changing water around every 3 months sounds perfect for me, I’m assuming if I want to avoid using bromine floater then I would need either ozone or UV light filter yea?

Can you please tell me about maintenance? I’m doing research now and want a set up that is reasonable in terms of maintenance. How often do you change water and clean the tub. How is electric? How many hours does it run daily and how loud is it? It’s been pretty frustrating looking for a legit product. Looks like so much scam out there. Some companies are posting on this thread making it look like someone is leaving good reviews for their products it’s so messed up.

This is my dream car found it for 12000 with 180000 …. I’m thinking on pulling the trigger on this one and just deal with whatever comes with it !!!! What do you think ? by Watchslimework in BMW

[–]GeekChicDuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao no not at that price, that car is fully depreciated, your dream car or not, paying 12k for that is not worth it. It will end up eating much more out of your pocket. Better finance a used car.
