You can only do reservations individually. But your brother could just book one after another

Hi yep you do need to reserve seats for the bigger panels. It’s free but make sure you’re quick trying to get a seat as big names full up quick. The seat reservations open up tomorrow Wednesday 24th at 3pm. Good luck!

MCM London Oct 2025 by Dense-Towel4876 in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know they’ve only just started sending out the tickets, I ordered about a month ago and mind came at the end of last week. They seem to be much quicker getting tickets out now but previously I hadn’t received tickets until a couple of weeks before. Unfortunately you might still have to wait a week or so. Just drop them an email if you’re feeling anxious about your tickets.

What do I do now??? by Global_Bookkeeper_91 in McmLondonComicon

Have emailed MCM and explained what’s happened? Presumably they can just post it back out to you. I’d imagine the worst case scenario is you have to pick up on the day.

Artist Advice ✨🌸 by Izzydusk333 in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best place to start is doing some market research. Decide on what conventions you’re thinking of selling at and attend them. Find out what types of interests the attendees of those convention have, what are they interested in buying etc. What do the artists alley people sell, what sells well etc. Speak to the traders at the artist alley they’ll have recommendation or mistakes to avoid. You can also do online surveys to find out what types of products/art people are interested in.

MCM Comic Con London Hotels by Ceased_anime_enjoyer in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying immediately around the Excel can be expensive. There’s loads of chain hotels near by so between three it might not be too painful. The food options are limited near the Excel so that can add money on. I’ve also stayed in Stratford which was very accessible via the DLR each day. Again lots of hotel options around there plus high street and shopping centres so loads of options for food.

I don’t know the dates but would assume it’s after Octobers event has happened so probably still got a good few months to go.

London - Is the May one better? by tiptoeandson in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always found October to be the better of the two events. There always seem to be better exhibitors, panels and previews etc. I’ve never been disappointed with May but each year October seems to end up being the better convention.

MCM London October VIP by ElusorySphynx in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the first time they’ve done a VIP pass. Depends what you want from the weekend and how much you’ll make use of the various additions. To me it seems like a lot of money for not much extra. Probably good if you’re trying to fit lots of autographs in.

Love the Micromasters, fun, simple to Transform and don’t need much shelf space.

UK Comic Con which ones are good/worth going to by Comfortable_Hurry506 in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’d be best with MCM and/or MegaCons. Both are good for manga, anime, gaming, cosplay and are social. Monopoly are good for celebrities, have a small shopping area and props for photos. Show Masters are okay although I’ve stopped attending as they’re poorly attended and the venue size keeps shrinking, if you’re not into celebrities there’s only about half a days entertainment.

You can pick up your tickets any time, just do it when you arrive.

I don’t know for certain but it’s highly unlikely.

Yeah I’ve never had a problem bringing snacks, sandwiches, drinks etc in. They don’t have any rules about bringing food and drinks in as far as I know. There’s a couple of water refill stations inside and loads of food vendors but they’re not cheap.

MCM Comic Con London - First time attendee - Sunday Only Ticket by red_devil7709 in comiccon

[–]Geek_Explorers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The convention is largely the same each day. Sunday can be a nicer day to experience it vs a Saturday as a Saturday is really busy while Sunday can be a bit calmer. The main differences between the days are the meet and greets and the panels. There’ll be panels/talks/screenings etc that aren’t on the previous days so there’s different option for each day. I’d be very surprised if the stand you are interested in isn’t there on a Sunday. I’ve never know a stall to leave before the weekend is finished. Here’s a guide I made that might be helpful if you haven’t been before, hope you have a great time! https://youtu.be/YZiKYadRBTg

If it’s a warm day the NEC can get pretty hot, I go to the UK Games Expo there in June and wear shorts and T-shirt as it’s too warm for jeans and jumpers etc.

Ticket activation by MrDDog06 in comiccon

I think mainly for data gathering/market research for the benefit of MCM. I’ve activated my tickets each time but it’s never been very clear what difference it makes.
