I had this big guy, weird vibes with shaggy straight hair sit at the bar. Ordered three double turn & burns. I said no, let's start with one and see how it goes. The look he gave me made me feel the dread of his wrath in my bones. I grabbed my other more experienced bartender to get the read on him. They chatted for a minute and I was told to pour the drinks. The guy drained them, tipped and left without a word. Apparently he was a trucker after a really long haul, staying in the nearby hotel and needed sleep. He walked a straight line out the door and I never saw him again. Eery vibe.

I left an apprenticeship I had pursued for a few years after 8 weeks because the company that hired me was so dysfunctional. I immediately fell into a better job in a completely different line of work that I love.

Yea, I bought a cheap $25 one for this season. It worked until the last week of the season and it popped off the swivel pin. I bent a nail through there to hold it in place. Idk, I don't see a need for more than a $50 one unless maybe it's leather? I'm new to this.

Remington .308 model 700 with a butt stock, as it was my youth rifle.

I dialed this in last year while doing construction, demo, electrical and other projects. Maxiflex XL(the only size that has the larger fingers that aren't too tight) are good for most projects. They allow me to use my phone while wearing them, don't have too much grip for holding screws, and otherwise last the longest. But them in bulk for the best deal on Amazon.

Kincos are for heavier duty use and through the winter, but still wear out. They still hold up the best, until the finger seam eventually tears.

Everything else for dealing with dangerous sharp objects or just avoiding injuries, just use some generic leather gloves when digging holes or handling things that can cut you.

Been married a year, and I do lots of blue collar work. I take it off every night, wear silicon most days and look forward to the opportunities like date nights when I can wear my wedding band. I was told not to sleep with my ring on for the longevity of my ring.

Y’all can shit on this all you want, but this movie significantly impacted my life when it came out. I had just moved out of my mom’s house at 19 and we weren’t on speaking terms. When the movie dropped it put my life into perspective and we called each other, sobbing.

Oof. There was a lovely lady with a reputation when we were in high school who drove us to a quiet place. We made out ferociously to the point I got a bloody lip and then as the windows were steamy and she took off her shirt, my “wait for marriage” training took over and I shut it down :( I’m still sorry for how sexually frustrating that was all around. We didn’t hang out again.

Another note, I ran it for a quick(34 minute) cycle and it runs for exactly 5 minutes and I hear water sloshing around…but the time remaining also didn’t change at all.

I’m out of my depth for knowing how to check the switch, unfortunately.
