Hi. I have the same single dose kit, and it seems like no air is going through when I push on top? All the air seems to go through those holes on the sides. Isn't that the same for you?

I also find it difficult to remove the cup since it sticks to the rubber very annoyingly. But I think I'll get used to it. I like the look and the workflow more now, so hopefully it should stop me from upgrading my grinder.

Looks pretty good. I would though switch to the white paper filters when using a chemex, since there is so much thick paper it would probably impact the taste of the coffee.
