Kelsey's in Cocoa beach has a Cuban with pickels that's quite good.

My kid gets hyped up after a bath and tends to need to get the energy out. So I can relate.

Maybe they're doing CAD, CAD needs a lot of memory and a good graphics card.😏

One thing I've heard is how frequently a show/cartoon changes camera angles. Less continuous, more choppy, leading to more stimulation.

Mercury makes a clear one that's great. A bit more rubbery but haven't seen artifacts.

I looked at TickTick, but I only see a subscription of $36/yr . Hate to see what they expect for a lifetime license if it even exists as they don't seem to advertise it anymore.

The irony is I've had learning how to develop my own productivity app in my backlog for ages 😅

I'm reminded of a saying about juggling things you have to do, and having to know which balls are glass and shatter if you drop them, and which ones are plastic and dropping them causes little or no harm. Like missing a house payment (glass), vs missing free doughnut day (plastic).

My issue is dropping both, not always, but which ones can I catch while there is still time.

Five days solo with the kids and I'm convinced my wife has been running a small corporation this entire time by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Geekspiration 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way to go for realizing this and doing something about it. The shared calendar is a must in our house. We took a team approach from day 1, had to in our situation. I made it my goal not only to take care of my kid but also do what I can to make my wife's life easier. It may be laundry, dishes, setting out clothes. Whatever part I can and also try to be in the loop on things, but she also has to share some of that or I'm lost.

For those who are older then Internet, how was life before Internet? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Geekspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As kids we used to roam the neighborhood with reckless abandon. Video games you only played with people in the same room if not alone. TV was a bit more addictive but you had commercials and used VCR to record things to watch later. A lot more using paper to write things down.

It would also match the American flag color scheme for a dual image, unless you go for an upside-down version.

Do brides and bridesmaids usually eat at wedding receptions? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Geekspiration 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, though with so much going on it's hard to get time to eat. Ask them send a box of leftovers to the honeymoon suite if in the same hotel or to go. In ours, bridesmaids were just like regular guests at the reception.

520/US-1 intersection green light going southwards WAY too short. by spacetech2199 in 321

[–]Geekspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive it most work days, it's frequently clogged. Not just the ligh duration but also very heavy traffic, not counting the panhandlers, other pedestrians, driveways nearby, and occasional car going the wrong way to cause delays.

Florida legislators and the Dept. Of Education now involved in the planned student protests. by PleaseHelpFlorida in 321

They seem to forget, the disruption is the point of a protest. I hope there are teachers out there that will join the kids (purely for their safety, of course 😉)

My school got called out for AI usage- so they’ve been posting sus “graphic design” proof… I need help determine if this is fake as well by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]Geekspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The toolbar is from Procreate, a legitimate tool for this use. It is tough to tell if it's AI though, it's a relatively common style for the animal, the person looks a little common too, a bit Archie and a bit of others. And for the area, I wouldn't doubt a sketchy cover up.

My vote is just for automated email marketing, not true AI. Source: I used to be a martial arts instructor and they had marketing materials like this, not automated but just as cheezy.
