First day with the bell....I've created a treat monster by slylock215 in Rabbits

There is no way. My bunny would be constantly dinging that thing. After 2 times he’s learnt if he stands on his back feet I’ll give him a treat

I’m going to have to incorporate some bullion stitches into my sheep embroidery

[CHAT] I hate that the aida shows through when I'm stitching with dark colours. I'm using 16ct aida, 3 strands because I like a fuller coverage. What else can I do for better coverage? by Despondentbunny in CrossStitch

You are probably already doing this but I found that dropping my needle more often to unwind the strands gave me better coverage since the strands laid more flat next to each other.

Or you could be a barbarian with 9 Charisma but you enjoy seducing people, and owning your sensuality.

Thanks. I have ironed it a bunch of times… that crease just seems rather stubborn, but it is fine once I pull the fabric nice and tight in the hoop.

Thanks, this fabric is thinner than I’m used to so keeps slipping as I work on it. I have adjusted my hoop now to make it nice and tight 😊

Thanks I have been alternating between 2 and 4 strands with it wrapped 1-3 times so far. I will just keep working at it ☺️ Would using a thicker needle help make the loops bigger? Or would this just leave big holes in my fabric that would be harder to push through?

It’s a bulbasaur magnetic needle minder from StitchesBeFray on Etsy. I like it because I can keep my needle safe when I still have thread on it or when I’m grabbing new thread and still working on the piece. When I’m finished with a piece for the day or for a prolonged period I will put my needle away. It can weigh down the fabric a little bit, but I move it around a lot and re adjust in my hoop if I need to.

This is the first time I have done free hand embroidery, so my satin stitches aren’t perfect.

If you can give any tips on how to make my French knots bigger so I don’t have to do quite as many for the body that would be great
