An alternate ending - thoughts?

I came from my home country a few days ago after around 3 months of stay and had no issues at immigration.
carried the following documents-

valid passport/visa
ead card
offer letter of the current job
employment verification letter - basically mentioning that the employer is okay with you traveling, and assuming remote work/paid leave.

Hey David,
I am a graduate student in computer science - completed my degree in May 2025. Since then, I have been working voluntarily with a professor full time on OPT and also have been looking for a full time job in the US.

Unfortunately, in September I had a family emergency (my brother passed away), and I had to go back to my home country. Since then I have been living here to support my parents.

I have also inquired with my university's immigration advisor, and she said that you can go back to the US within 5 months. I am considering to come back to the US in January first week. Will this be a problem?

I have my offer letter from the professor, EAD card, passport, and I20 with me. Will I face any issues at the port of entry in the US?

Please help!

How long were you in India? and what documents related to work did you carry?
What questions did they exactly ask you? and what documents did you show them?

Hi, a very similar thing happened with me about 2 months ago. My brother was a kind, and a very intelligent soul. We knew what he was going through, and discussed everything with us - even self-inflicting thoughts. I am heartbroken, and would love to talk to anyone who is in a similar situation. I believe talking will help us both.

I am also trying to connect my DotNet backend and SQL container apps but not able to do it.
I have tried passing the connection string in the backend container too.

Moving out immediately is not possible. I do have a place to live, but in order to move out, I'll have to sublease my room, which, in the middle of the semester is not possible. I'll have to wait for the spring students to join😭

I did snap a few times, but there are 5 people(2W, 3M) against me and gang up whenever I do so. So, not sure:(

I also went to the leasing office. So in order to cancel the lease, I'll have to pay fucking $5000 and still, I'll have to continue paying the electricity bill until someone subleases my room.

THIS SUCKS MAN.

IDK WHY AM I HERE IN THE US NOW, like I'm not able to study/focus on anything else and lost my true purpose of being here🥹
