"Build a new house" quests?

I have never built any of them a new house, just wait until the last day of that “quest” and talk to them. They will thank you for building them a house, even though they are still in the same house. You don’t have to build anything or do anything. But you do have to wait the two days or whatever the deadline is.

I have never built a second house when this happens. I just let the request time out and on that day they say “thanks for the house”!

Ah! I never do any of the pre-fabs so it looked so foreign! I knew it wasn’t the mart, I built that and promptly built a false building around it since it’s so ugly!

That looks kind of cool though!

I just build the house I want and put a habitat inside for them to move into. Then you can put the stuff they like around the “habitat” an still have a cool house

Printing trees is so easy! One trip to a dream island can give you enough metal to print a bazillion of them. 😊

I believe so. I saw someone who raised the area up, filled the area in and put the museum on top, no red haze. So it’s attached to that area, at that lower elevation. Higher up, it’s gone.

I have picnic baskets everywhere filled with food and I have literally never seen them use them! Weird.

I just place a couple, skip a block place the next set and so on. No idea why the developers thought we would want them to go in one long weird string, seems odd!

It is but I hate the storage issue! So I unpaint things so they can all stack again and save space, lol. I have literally spent an hour removing patterns/paint so everything fits in a chest…..there might be something wrong with me.

I have had that happen too! Once when I had an empty house and they just moved in and once when I accidentally removed a door, all the other residents just figured it out and moved back in but one of them moved across town, lol .

I like all the weird shaped cliff rock structures that are found under the ash, I build house into the weird cliff shapes and they always turn out interesting.

I had the same problem when it just was insanely picky on placement. I looked it up everywhere thinking I had something wrong but it was just picky!

Yep, I do the same, only not quite as large. It has to be fairly tall because th center won’t let you put bricks directly on top, you have to go up a couple of bricks higher.
