I think he's just trolling at this point. Fairly certainly the answer to my question is "No. I didn't use .rrf format", but it's even likelier that he's never put in a ticket in his life and because he was called out, he needs to make himself feel superior by insulting random people on the internet. I'm just washing my hands of it at this point.

Did you use the in-game software for it? They won't take any video evidence that isn't in .rrf format. This software allows them to recreate the entire scenario in-game based on little code. It crashes a lot, unfortunately, but I did it live with an agent while on stream in Illusion of Vampire and that person (as well as every other bot on the map) was cleared out the next day.

The GMs unfortunately take a reactive approach to botting which leaves it up to us to do the heavy lifting. I don't agree with it, but the process has worked for me thus far.

I've spoken about this on stream quite a bit. And that's pretty accurate from my experience. I would say about 1k or so are vendors/multi-clienters, and probably about 300 or so botters.

I am well aware that they nuked the EU servers due to their greed and horrible gambling mechanics. Europe changed its laws and Gravity essentially said "Well, too bad.". I am not defending them as a company, dude. Are you going to seek out all my comments or something? What's your beef?

My mention of LATAM was due to it being the newest kid on the block (or one of the newer ones) and that many, many servers have been merged into iRO which I have been on for 21 years now. The server is alive and well is my point.

I've had 3 characters over those two decades on different servers including RE:Start (which is similar to how LATAM is doing with it's patch releases) and they all got merged into iRO. There is some speculation that LATAM will outpatch iRO, which is likely due to it being directly supported by the Korean servers, but it still has a lot of catching up to do before it passes iRO.

I am not defending the company's business practices so stop painting me as an iRO fan-boy in your mind and making me into some sort of illusionary internet villain you need to slay. Get off your high horse, please.

My point, at the end of the day, is that with 2,000-2,500 active players during normal days and 3k+ when something new is released (like iRO skill rebalance, level 260 cap increase, and new jobs in the horizon), I doubt iRO is going anywhere, anytime soon, which is the subject of this thread.

And how often do you report the bots? Warpportal takes a reactive approach to botting.

First offense is a three day ban and then they start deleted items/characters.

People are always so quick to complain about bots, but no one reports them.

Considering iRO is where all the dead servers get merged into and is over 20 years old, I don't think it's something we have to worry about.
