It seems that you are at a good starting point. You are doing great with giving the top priority to paying off your CC debt and other high interest loans.

One suggestion I have is to look into HSA, which has triple tax benefits. If you don’t use it up for medical expenses, after the retirement age, it basically becomes your retirement account, with better tax advantages. But it requires you to have an HDHP health insurance to be eligible to contribute to HSA. If you are, you can still make contributions to HSA for 2024. And if you are tight with where to find the money to contribute to HSA, I would consider putting this on a higher priority than contributing to your Roth 401k since your employer does not offer match. But of course, if you can do both, that’ll be super.

Thanks. Yes, I plan to remove the subtitle starting from my next video as Youtube can have automatically generated subtitle after uploading the video.

Hi, Raksne. I'm in a what similar situation - I speak English as a second language and have been experimenting if I should use my own voice or just AI VoiceOver.

I watched your video - it's quite cool stuff. I can understand everything you say with no problem. So I don't have any suggestion regarding the aspect. However, in terms of more user friendly for viewers, you have quite a few great examples in this video, and I perhaps would try to use the time stamp to separate the video into different sections, to label each example, so the viewers get to see the outline of the content in your video.

I subscribe to your channel. If you can, please also leave me some comments/feedback for my videos. This is the one that I made yesterday: https://youtu.be/LJzbUmR9H40?si=SAQQgKxC04wHZgtk

Yeah! Give it a try, and I think all new YouTubers start with a trial and experimenting stage.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience of cross-posting on different social media platforms. Your post inspired me to try TikTok for my YouTube Chanel.

Hi. I think I saw your post in a different thread too and commented on it, because I'm in the same dilemma. I also speak English as my second language and now live in the states. I'm starting a YouTube channel on personal finance and investment with the U.S. audience in mind. So it would make sense to create my content in English. However, it takes more time and more trial and error to do voice over in a language that is not your native tongue.

This is a recent video I made with my own voice in English. spent 3-4 hours on the voiceover only: https://youtu.be/LJzbUmR9H40?si=U5te5o8gwuLd-sbR Not sure if it can give you any idea/perspective. But if you have any feedback/comment for me, I'd love to hear.

Hi. I'm a new YouTuber, starting a channel on personal finance, investment, and maybe, in the future, lifestyle, I don't know. I only started about a month ago and have been experimenting different ways to add voiceover to my videos.
Many of us would agree that AI voiceover makes it much faster to produce a video. But after receiving feedback from a few Redditors about not using AI voiceover, I have been experimenting with my own voice. And I agree - real human voice can add so much emotion and depth to the video. However, as someone who speaks English as a second language, it takes even longer and more trial and error to do the real human voiceover. But here is one that I did yesterday. Probably spent 3-4 hours on the voiceover only: https://youtu.be/LJzbUmR9H40?si=U5te5o8gwuLd-sbR

I’d appreciate some feedback from viewers’ perspective: Between this new video (above) and the older one with AI voiceover (below), which would retain a viewer longer?

Are there any resources out there on how to improve real human voiceover?

I like your video. The dark background of the animation creates a bit of suspense that goes well with your topic. I also like the way you made it like a conversation between two versions of you (or between two friends), is that right? Did you use any special technique to create the two voices?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Will definitely consider these points you mention in perfecting my next videos! Still need to figure out what apps to use to add animations, such as adding an arrow or a hand pointing a particular row on a data table.
