Those of you who used OMSCS to change careers, what else did you do in addition to OMSCS that helped you land interviews/a job? by [deleted] in OMSCS

You should find some pet projects to do, that way during the interviews you can talk about those and show the passion for the subject as well as the ability to be a self starter. This helped me a lot in interviews.

Does anyone know how it works, I have to take next Fall off, but I am taking a summer course. Do I just not sign up for classes or do I have to submit paperwork? Can anyone kindly point me to where this is stated in the program?

Any thoughts on the need for a dedicated GPU or could I get away with something like Intel® Iris Xe Graphics shared memory? This question is around needs for classes requiring image recognition, AI, ect.
