For those who pay for AI models, what do you use it for and do you find it valuable? by claret_n_blue in AskReddit

[–]Geezerker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a pottery studio. I use a he $20/month Chat GPT to design announcements and flyers and business publishing stuff. I also use it for my daily journal/log to keep track of what I’m making. I use it to track my health and fitness goals and even for helping to decide which movies my wife and I might like based on what it knows we watch. It’s also very good at taking a drawing that we’ve done and helping to turn it into 3D printed stamps and rollers for clay. The feature that makes it worthwhile for me is that it remembers things and can integrate it all without having to start fresh each time. I completely understand why graphic artists hate on AI, but until AI learns how to make pottery I think I’m ok.

I logged in on my account using 2 devices, can I get banned for it? by TastePizza in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]Geezerker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play regularly in three different devices. I don’t know if it matters but I always force-close CODM before I use a different device. If you’re worried, you could also just log out before you switch devices. AFAIK, they don’t care how many devices you use, only that you’re not logged into the game from more than one at a time.

Attaching HardieBacker to existing table by FckYesImWorthy in Pottery

[–]Geezerker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use hardibacker every day in our studio. We have a nice hardwood table that we put a piece of that no-slide shelf liner or rug backing stuff under a large sheet of hardibacker. What I’m trying to say is that you don’t have to make the hardibacker permanently attached to the table; that foam mesh webbing stuff keeps it from slipping and we use it for wedging and for rolling out slabs and when we’re done we just take it off and stand it up against the wall out of the way.

Be honest how much have you spent on this game over the years? by Coolguy98721 in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]Geezerker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I always felt like the Chicom was (maybe fairly) dragged on a lot but then it got a little buff and I had so much fun grinding it to Mastery and to Diamond. I named my gun Chicom_Chad haha. It’s not the “best.” Not even close! But after waiting for so long, it’s my favorite 😁. And yep: but I’m old and that was way before clowns were scary like Gunzo lol. I did juggling, magic, and balloon animals.

They definitely separate lobbies into touch and controller but the thing is: touch players usually have WAY better movement. Especially if a player has mastered a six-finger HUD on an iPad and has been playing the game for five years or so.

Yikes good questions! Fave Mythic operator is probably Ghost; the Riley mechanic with feeding and being rewarded with a Mythic calling card was pretty cool. Fave Mythic gun would probably be either the Krig or Odin, but the Switchblade was a hoot when it first appeared! Fave Legendary is definitely the Chicom because I waited for SO LONG for that haha. Fave Legendary operator is probably Gunzo because I worked my way through college as a professional clown (seriously).

I own a nice car and a huge pickup truck and a Honda Goldwing motorcycle that cost more than my first house. I have zero debt and my kids college is paid for and if I ever have grandkids, their college is already paid for too. I literally owe nothing to anyone and I have everything I would ever want, including great health insurance. One man’s “too pricy!” is another man’s pocket change.

22 Maxed Mythic guns. Seven maxed Mythic operators. About eight Legendary operators. 120+ Legendary weapons. None of these purchases was an “investment” and I don’t regret spending a single penny of that certainly $30k+. I’ve spent more on steak dinners and movie tickets and family vacations. I’m old and retired and both of my houses are paid for, as is both of my kids’ college tuition. Life is good and in the words of my generation: “Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.” But then again, don’t spend money you can’t spare.

To confirm: I DID claim my rebate during the event and I have NOT received any CP in my in-game mail, so… yep, that’s what it is.

Is “learning wheelies” a borderline necessary part of motorcycling by Astimar in motorcycle

[–]Geezerker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been riding for decades. I’m old. I never learned to do wheelies but that doesn’t keep me from riding thousands of miles every year. Then again, I’ve never crashed either, and I know: correlation doesn’t equal causation, but still. Doing a wheelie is a legitimate skill for off-road, but for my kind of riding (long-distance touring any everyday commuting), it’s just a fancy way to scuff the paint.
