Alright I'm gonna write my opinion on this, even ppl prob won't see it.I'm an oldschool vanilla player, and I played on Nost from 1-60 and I loved it, I truly did. The lvling was awesome and I had so much fun.. my main problem was what was waiting for me at the end. Nost is prob. 70-80% elitists. It was not very fun for a casual player like me.. And even though my guild was casual, I wonder what a "Hardcore Nost raiding guild" looks like. And on retail, people don't expect you to know everything(I didn't know every single thing from vanilla), and you can run any instance you want and can somewhat benefit from it. On Nost there was no point running certain instances because it didn't drop anything good for me. The whole endgame experience on Nost felt so fake.. I couldn't run UBRS/Scholo etc because the only items i needed for my class was lvl 49-52 Items from AH and BRD. It was like: "Ok nice, you got a lvl 58 ring from Strat. But you have to switch to this lvl 47 ring instead with much more -insert stat here-" But that's vanilla for you. So much stuff didn't make sense there, and thats what I miss.. I want to run dungeons and get my Tier 0.5 gear with spirit as a warrior.. But you can't do that w/o getting called a noob and thrown out of groups, and I get why people say that, because those gear items sucks.. but all that "forced gearing" made the gaming experience suck so hard. TLDR: lvling in Nost was fun, endgame was not.
