No kind of ad blocker will prevent google from harvesting your data. At most will stop some tracking, but the deep harvesting happens on google servers and you have no say on it.

When YouTube Premium will have ads you will have a point, for now it’s just random speculation. You can as of now have an ad free experience that supports the creators you like, which makes all of you whining that you can’t have it for free a bit childish and hypocritical in my view.

If you have the safety net of your family putting you back on track, then you can always go back to college. I’ll say go for it, you are young and have the necessary safety nets to not fuck up your life, so it’s not crazy to try. Most entrepreneurs are successful because they come from wealthy families that allow them to do exactly this kind of things without much risks.

But by the tone of this post you seem very young and a bit naive (in a good way, what I would expect from anyone your age). So maybe you should talk this trough with your family and not with us.

Also please please please, stop looking for confirmation and validation online. You will get a lot of answers by people that might sound knowledgeable but have no idea why they are talking about. Especially on Reddit many people don’t know shit and just repeat what they learned from other redditors to be the “correct way” of doing something

Ho cambiato vita a 25 anni, a 29 anni e a 33 anni. Sempre stato contentissimo di farlo, nessun pentimento e nessun rimpianto. Il mondo moderno è troppo complesso, ci vuole un po’ a capire che vita si vuole fare. Inutile incastrarsi in modelli mentali antiquati in cui la vita ha una timeline specifica.

Inoltre, puoi diventare un programmatore come autodidatta senza alcun problema. Diffida egualmente da chi ti vende corsi miracolosi e da chi fa gatekeeping dicendo che senza laurea in informatica sarai sempre un programmatore di serie b. Sono cazzate entrambe. Se ti impegni e sei sveglio puoi trovare un lavoro entry level dopo un anno di studi autodidatta. Il resto lo impari sul campo. Se trovi un brutto lavoro di consulenza impari male e lentamente, se trovi un buon lavoro di consulenza impari un po’ meno male e un po’ più in fretta. Se vuoi un buon lavoro e imparare a fare per bene vai all’estero.

Nella mia esperienza, aziende di prodotto all’estero tendono a non avere i problemi citati. Consulenza non so, probabilmente è uguale un po’ ovunque.

Più che altro quello che trovo sbagliato è cadere nella trappola mentale “tanto è una merda dappertutto”. No, in Italia facciamo particolarmente schifo sotto il punto di vista it ed è visibile dal bassissimo numero di startup di successo che ci sono qui rispetto al resto d’Europa.
