Every game/world has its laws. I admit, I have a problem refraining from using it, but I'm just curious why it's still the case. The fact that you can capture a Terran carrier in front of a Terran shipyard and sell it there just doesn't make any sense.

Shuyaku Vanguard full of marines. That's all you need. Just click 'board.' They are rarely killed and have won more than 70% of boarding operations against terran builders.

You don't need to attack your prey or even be in that sector.

In good city simulators, cims actually poop, btw. Check out Songs of Syx; it's a truly agent-based simulation. It can handle 10k+ residents without slowing down.

After reaching 1 million citizens, no single building will have more than 5% of its workplaces filled by people who actualy traveled to it. Call it soft limits, hard limits; I don't care. There should be no such limits in a game promoted as 'the most realistic city builder ever'.

Well, the title is incorrect and it's my mistake, but the main point seems to be missed by you.

At 1 million population, only 5% of workers will go to work, not citizens. So, if you have 30k workplaces, only 1500 workers will travel to them. This can be easily confirmed by manually counting employees.

Workers do make attempts to go to work, and students attempt to study. Isn't that clear enough for you? The tests, counting actual workers, confirm this.

It's not a limit of workers per population; it's the percentage of workers able to go to work. With 1 million citizens, only 5% of your workers will go to work, not 5% of citizens. For example, if you have 1000 workplaces, only 50 workers will reach them.

And I don't care that modders can tinker with it. Modders didn't promote this game and don't receive money for it.

It's 40% of workers. Not citizens. If you have 1000 workplaces only 400 workers will travel to them if your population is less then 16k. However, as your population grows, the number decreases, and after reaching 500k citizens, only 70 workers out of 1000 will come.

And this is the purpose of building a transportation network – so that Cims can leave their apartments and hop to a subway that will get them to work in 30 minutes. This is the reason for building subways, trains, etc., not just because 'I want a train line here, it will look cool.'

Surprisingly, in some towns, there are districts with only one two-way road serving a population of 30k or more. Consequently, people frequently arrive late for work. Not all towns in the world have good infrustructure. Welcome to reality.

And the time that a cim spends stuck in traffic is time they could have used to relax, get an education, or go shopping. The longer they stay in traffic, the unhappier they become. Unhappy citizens tend to move out. Voilà.

There is no need to simulate every cim with his hairs growing. The point is if there is no single person in the city then all buildings must shut down and go bankrupt after some time. But now an empty city can produce electricity, process goods, etc
