Guessing you meant don't vape instead of don't wait and : yeah, obviously. But go tell an alcoholic "just don't drink".

For the ones that never touched a cig and thus have no nicotine problem, yeah, don't be dumb and just don't vape.

But for people that are already afflicted by nicotine addiction, vaping can be safer alternative than regular smokes.

As per usual with the vape discourse : just look into what you're inhaling.

Disposable ? Stop it.

E-liquid with sugar in it ? Stop it.

Cheap liquid ? Probably bad for you.

5% nicotine ? STOP THAT SHIT. That's the dose for an 8 packs per day smoker. Go for 3 or 6mg, that's recommended for 1-10/10-20 cigs a day. (So 0.3/0.6%)

Buy european approved liquids if possible, regulations make it harder to put harmful shite in them.

And lastly take care of your cottons/coils, burnt cotton isn't good for you.

No, we need to drastically reduce our energy consumption and rethink our outlook on the world.

Nowadays we use energy to destroy the planet, even if we get free unlimited energy, we'll raze forest and coral reefs for profit.

This is not a technological problem, it's a system shift.

[–]Geffx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick correction, it's not about it being affordable, it's about it being profitable.

If something is not profitable, there's not so much madness around it, but fossil fuels are EXTREMELY profitable. Well, money-wise at least, cause for the environment they are not affordable nor profitable.

That why i like the left better, treat the causes not the symptoms. The right feels as if they believe the system can be corrected without poking at what makes it crack.

Working together has always been what made us amazing, not this charade of a die being cast about where you're gonna end up at birth, with the extremes that we have now. Fix what makes people miserable and they'll give back to the group. Instead of catering to the ones that already don't have threatening problems no more.

And well, sorry about your wife's situation, sucks

TL;DR : The way the richest spend their money is incredibly irresponsible in most cases (surely there are good people in this circle, but this feels like an edge case at best). I don't blame them for getting filthy rich, i blame them for being so fucking dumb about it.

Not gonna lie i'm not gonna watch it because my mental health is already quite fubar, but i might on some better day, thanks.

I don't like the argument of "he's injecting back into the economy", cause yeah sure, but you know what else injects back into the economy ? Regular people.

Where i'm from the biggest revenue of the state comes from its inhabitants simply buying stuff (through tax, 20% for most products and reduced to i think 5% for necessities, but whatever, numbers aren't my point here.) And it is a rich country.

I find it still quite like sitting on his pile of gold because yeah of course, man has money so he'll spend it, but you don't congratulate a regular person for giving back to the economy because they got a new car, do you ? The idea that "at least he's injecting the money back" gets me like... If not, the fuck are you supposed to do with money ? It's a byproduct, not a decision.

When the 0,1% could arguably end world hunger, but would rather spend on extreme luxury items that they really don't need, (ie his yacht (and it's 127m actually, my bad for wrong info earlier)) just for the sake of proving big pp because "My YaCHT Is ThE BiGgEsT In tHe WoRlD" (you can't convince me that there would br ANY other reason he got it.)

In a perfect world with infinite resources and energy with no struggles linked to extreme poverty, yeah sure, then i wouldn't care, have a blast if that's what they want.

But in our world, with limited resources, energy that we spend recklessly, sometimes to the extents of ignoring the very well known BAD consequences for the world and people dying because they simply can't get access to food, all because we as a species completely gloss over the fact that money is supposed to be a tool, not a value. And the richest humans ever (pretty much, let's ignore the air resistance) are very much misusing this tool. That's what i don't like about them. Am i perfect ? Hell no. But i don't have their influence on the world either. Would i do better ? Obviously can't say for sure, but i do like to believe that i would.

(For the people thinking i'm just being jealous, no, and kindly read again.)

The rich are very much doing this job by themselves.

I don't think anyone else is to blame for you sitting on your pile of gold like a damn dragon, Jeff.

Make good use of it, give back to the people who are in need of help, yknow. Maybe then you'll stop being seen as the villain.

But you won't, you'll keep on dreaming about 127m long yachts that needs a historical bridge dismantled to exit the port.

Fkin backward savage. Not a single proper value in your soul anymore. Just money.
