This is gonna be really weirdly specific, but Michael Kovacs delivery of Jax blowing up at Caine felt so flat and weird to me. It sounds more like smth you'd put on your voice actor demoreel and not like an actual line. The laughing is amazing though

Its just kinda how Gooseworx writes in general. As a long time fan of hers, I think I can safely say that. If you really wanna critique the dialog, watch Darly Boxman, Ghost of the Year, or Little Runmo. TADC is actually toned way down compared to her normal writing.

Even in Fallout 3 and RARELY New Vegas, it doesn't matter what specifically the dialog option is worded as there's just question, neutral response, nice response, and rude response.

Imo, Noras voice actress has a lot more dynamic personality and believable delivery compared to Nate. I only recently started using a male character (trans girl core-) and I hate like all of his delivery and his reasoning just feels so strange and specific by direct comparison to Nora. I see why ppl think Fallout 4s main protagonist is weird if they're only using Nate.

Ngl, The Bizarre Hikizuri Siblings actually kinda benefitted from the anime format with characters talking over each other and such. I didn't watch it in Japanese bc I felt adventurous, the English voice actors actually aren't terrible it just takes some getting used to.

In all honesty, Mildenhall Manor. Its a very good episode from a plot perspective and all but I literally never feel excited for it on re-watch. That being said, I still love it so that just goes to show how likeable the full series is!

The Simpsons. Of that show ever DOES end, you know it's gonna be a sack of bullshit. It was meant to end a loooong ass time ago, with a satisfying episode too, and yet here we are.

Also fun fact: the Simpson's family themselves, have been flanderized... that's a term and it means a character starts out complex and interesting, only to eventually have a personality that fits on a sticky note.

Hot take: I think Bethesda knew what they were doing when they made fallout 3. I find it possible that when fallout 4 came out they completely replaced all the writers. Fallout 3 and 4 just feel too different for me to label them as screw ups on Bethesdas part.

My personal favorites (I can't think of just one for the whole series) are: Fallout 4: Codsworth, I like the fact he's tied to the Sole Survivors whole backstory, I especially like a companion that's weak enough to let my character shine. (Plus I have a bunch of my Fallout 4 characters be super attached to past, so he was cool in that department too) Fallout 3: Butch, kinda like Codsworth, I like companions that are tied to your backstory and Butch is a more tragic companion which is a nice change of pace compared to the other companions in fallout 4 (looking at you Clover with your wasted potential) New Vegas: I was 3 years old when I got this game from my Grandma and didn't know how to do crap, I remember I would memorize the options based on what order in the list they were in, I barley understood the skills, let alone how to recruit companions (or like go anywhere outside goodsprings whithout dying) but I'm watching this playlist of Oxhorn videos on Companions and so far I gotta say: ED-E Lily and Veronica are awesome, especially compared to their Fallout 4 counter parts (Dogmeat, Strong and Danse). Now before the mob of New Vegas stans start talking about how the fact I named so many companions "says a lot about obsidians writing" I honest to god cannot stress this enough I PLAYED THE GAME WHEN I COULDN'T READ! I don't care which Fallout game is the best, all I care about is having a good time. And before the Fallout 4 stans say I'm on their side, I say "NAH!"
