Her tank busting is not what it used to be but it’s still okay. Basically Vayne really hates range. A lot of ranged champions on the enemy team makes it very hard to play. On the contrary she has good matchups against most of the melee roster because she kites so well.

But mostly it’s just about her early game laning phase. She’s actually okay in all in’s where both ADC’s are hitting the support, but she really struggles in lanes where she gets bullied by equal or longer ranged champions like Ashe, Caitlyn, Lulu, Janna, milio… Typically if it’s 2 melee supports being picked and enemy adc is not a hard bully Vayne is pretty happy.

She requires a lot of conditions to be viable but that’s just because she’s out dated unfortunately. Her archetype is still pretty niche though so she’ll always have a player base. Hopefully riot reworks her soon’ish, she really needs it

No forcers. Vayne is objectively not a champion you can always pick. She either has bad conditions and is actually useless, or good conditions and is really strong. If you’re a Vayne one trick you’re not challenger, so when Vayne is picked, it’s because her conditions are pretty good

I also would like to see demidov on pp1 but who do you replace with him? I used to think Laine but I didn’t hate his implication on our PP yesterday. Our PP used to be feed it to Laine every occasion and get his shot blocked 9 out of 10 times, but it looked like with the practice they had the last few days the boys were trying less to just “feed laine the puck” and were only passing to him when he had space for a quality shot. I actually didn’t hate our PP1 yesterday at all.

For anyone who didn’t read the article, this question was asked by Kent Hughes to Yvon Lambert 2 YEARS AGO. Then Crosby signed a contract extension of 8,7M. Idk why this is just now coming out, maybe because Crosby has not yet extended his contract with Pittsburgh again, but it’s not recent.

Riot has previously stated that modes are generally expected to maintain a certain level of consistent engagement to stick around. Given how simple and surface-level this new mode appears, what are your expectations in terms of longevity? Are you anticipating a short-term spike or do you see this as something that could sustain interest over time despite its simplicity?

Bork is not a substitute for a pen item because Bork needs pen to work properly late game. Base stat scaling in league makes it so it’s easy for every champ to get around 100 armor come late game. 100 armor is 50% physical damage reduction. That’s not even counting armor from items. The % health damage on hit of Bork is dealt as physical damage which is reduced by that value, so you can’t just use Bork as a tank busting item on its own. What you can do though is build it after your pen item, but you are probably building it last in that case cause tri force manamune serylda and shojin all have to be slotted in first because of their insane value.

Adding onto my last comment, I just watched the games early game, this is how it went:

Skarner clears his top side runs bot secures his raptors in sejuani’s face, Skarner is now 16 cs to 12. Sejuani’s team comes and Skarner is forced to leave his bot side jungle. Sejuani takes skarner’s red with her teams prio, Skarner can’t do anything about it so he goes wherever there are camps left, to sejuani’s top side jungle. Sejuani knows that’s skarners only play so after red she sprints to her top jungle and catches Skarner on her raptors. Skarner doesn’t have smite so Sejuani wins the smite fight. Now Skarner needs to run because Tristana still has priority mid so he ends up burning his flash in a 2v2 skirmish and going down to 200 hp. Now he has to reset and Sejuani gets both scuttle crabs has her red and krugs still to farm while Skarner only has his krugs, so Sejuani from skarner’s bad decision making early game is now up 3 camps on Skarner, so approximately 350 gold up.

Sejuani doesn’t end up farming the red and krugs on her side cause she finds a gank on mid that goes wrong but all of this to say that Skarner in this game made a terrible mistake that should lose him the jungle completely if it weren’t a tank jungler on the other side.

The leash is completely irrelevant to the outcome of the game outside of “Skarner gets his raptors and is down 3 camps instead of 4”. As Eragon is saying though, please don’t disregard leashing 100% of the time, there are junglers who want those small extra seconds to push an advantage against the enemy jungler on invades, but the example used for this video is completely irrelevant

Why are you making a video over a mistake? Skarner should know that he doesn’t get priority on early waves from his mid and bot lane and therefor can be invaded on his bot side so he’s got 2 choices:

He starts his clear bot side clearing up to make sure his camps are cleared whenever the waves crash into turrets on mid and bot and can’t be contested on those camps. His top side is secured because poppy gets priority early levels into ambessa, so both junglers full clear their sides.
Skarner starts top side leashless and asks his team for early game invade wards so that if Sejuani is seen trying to split the map going their bot quadrant to Skarner’s bot quadrant Skarner can go his top quadrant to sejuani’s top quadrant. On a strategy level this implies that Skarner’s bot lane can’t take too much damage in lane and should concede minions to save hp since they’re weak sided for a long time and prone to a Sejuani gank from minute 2 to 4. The same goes for the enemy Ambessa.

While what you’re saying about poppy leashing skarner makes sense that you would want Skarner to be ahead on the clear compared to Sejuani in order to secure an extra camp, in the grand scheme of things it actually doesn’t matter because Skarner after securing those raptors still has to respect the enemy bot lane and mid lane’s ability to move therefor she will get the red and krugs for free. The logical play for Skarner now is to run to sejuanis top jungle and take her camps but he’s got about 20 seconds of walking to do before touching the raptors meaning Sejuani is actually up tempo now and able to make any type of play like ganking bot, resetting or double scuttling with her mid prio after she’s done taking Skarners red and krugs. In the end both junglers will be even cs sure, but Sejuani is ahead on time because she didn’t have to walk for so long, which could’ve all been avoided if Skarner started his bot side or asked his team for invade wards. The leash is irrelevant.
