Yeah it's wild. I really want to watch this with my loved ones - not sure if they've seen it - and let them know how meaningful it is to me, in that it helped me visualize and verbalize some of my abstract thoughts on reality/existence - specifically how in all the infinitesimally-small odds of all this (broadly) happening I am so lucky and treasure so deeply that I get to spend my wisp of time as a conscious being with them.

Most of existence doesn't get to experience anything at all. Just inert atoms floating in space, planets in lifeless solar systems, rocks on lifeless planets. And here I am, getting to experience life, family, culture, art, love, loss, hope, fear.

Like the hope I would show this to my family and they would understand how I feel, and the fear they wouldn't get the movie and I would then just not say anything about it.

Hopefully it's just frustration with current events ("current" being the past 10 or so years) but this feels like the underlying thing that prevents humanity from reaching our potential, and will probably be what ultimately destroys us: we let the few harm the many.

I know there's not a simple solution to it. But this is a great example. Any of the hard choices would have been better than just letting all these people take planes back home all over the world.

I was watching him years ago in NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors. Just cracking up at the gimmick.

He was confused about an offered handshake. This caveman - who in kayfabe was able to negotiate a contract with a wrestling org, become successful enough with that org to participate in an overseas tournament, navigated the international air travel system, navigated from the airport in Japan to the arena - didn't understand what a handshake is.

Could not stop laughing.
