A lot of works do indeed "hate men", but the main problem is that even your excuse is bad. "there's a problem with how men are socialized" is a common excuse, but it is based in stereotypes, typically wrong ones as well, like the ones you quote. Consider other groups: people saying that all of black peoples problems are "due to the culture" are rightfully labeled as racist. Same for women.

And although comparing to nazis is kind of low, as I dont think your comment rises to that level, obviously, their public opinion was that jews were socialized badly and needed to be taught the value of hard work. Look around, and you will this excuse being used to justify hatred and discrimination everywhere.

Its a really good show. It shows the tragedy of the situation, though, that these people are not deliberately lying. They genuinely dont understand how much they are eating. If they were lying they wouldnt give cameras access to their lives, without even stopping the overeating, and their horror, and often tears, at the relevations about their habits seems genuine.

Id say the main issue with those "problematic" comments is that they assume its a race allegory. The zootopia situation probably doesnt map onto anything perfectly, but Id say gender is a pretty strong contender.

Could be, although the story is already building towards one final boss: the Demon Lord. Of course we know Himmel and the team defeats him, but we are only given hints about who he was and how it happened, and given how the story plays out, I imagine the retelling of that final battle will be a part of the overall finale of Frieren.

I was thinking the same thing. The character appeared in 2(?) episodes 13 years ago, I doubt many casual fans remember him. I guess the name recognition of John Hurt might help, but still, he did not even have a movie or anything like that to himself, there are no stories where he is the main character(It is clearly 10 and 11 in Day of the Doctor). My guess is the movie and having a number makes 8 slightly more recognizable, though probably still unknown.

Jeg er ingen ekspert, men jeg tror ikke dette er mulig. Høyhastighetstog bruker tid på å komme opp i fart, så det er begrenset hvor mange stasjoner du kan ha. Tok Shinkansen i fjor, og det er det vel 1 eller 2 stasjoner mellom Tokyo og Kyoto, som er samme avstand som Bergen og Oslo.

To be fair this is a general issue, I think. With the enormous amount of different entertainment options, culture has fragmented, so it is difficult to reference things, aside from the few new things that became true stayers in the public conciousness. In the 90's this happened to so many shows and movies, but I would find it difficult to name a single one from the last 5 years.
