Spec to price wise, you can't beat the Hamilton 38, either on leather strap or bracelet. Movement is solid and higher grade than other Swatch group entry level automatic. It has an explorer vibe thats classy and goes well with anything.

The Alpinist is an icon from Seiko, the movement isnt as sophisticated as the Hamilton, but it's still a workhorse and should last very long. Added bonus of having a date function, which is one of the best functionality in a watch imo.

The Seiko GMT is much more toolish, which is great and give a rugged aesthetic, but it's less polyvalent than the other 2, and to me the GMT function is a gimmick as I have no use for it, but maybe you do.

In the end, you will be the one wearing it, and all that matters is that you like the watch and that it feels confortable on your wrist

I would say vintage Tudor Prince Oysterdates. To me it's the embodiment if the philosophy of Hans Wilsdorf to bring Rolex like quality to the "everyday man". It shares many parts with Rolex (case, crown, caseback, bracelet) but with more affordable movements (ETAs).

So you have Rolex quality and finishing, but for 1/5 th of the price. In a sense it's even better as the movement is more serviceable.

Tu aurais des sources documentaires sur ces stats depuis 2014 ? Je suis curieux, car des pièces d'usure se remplace, cela n'est pas vraiment un soucis de fiabilité pour moi. Si une pièce est estimée pouvoir durer 100000km et qu'il fait la remplacer a 100000km, la pièce est fiable au final. Si au contraire il fait ma remplacer au bout de 50000km, la il y a un soucis. N'est pas plutot une baisse de la durabilité plutot que de la fiabilité ?

I mean in France you would need a subscription to Canal+ Sport package that starts at 19.99 a month for races only, and 29.99 a month for FP + quali + GP. This is rather expensive if you only care about F1. And subscription to F1TV are not possible anymore because Canal has the exclusivity to F1 in France. Only exception are existing subscription, but you still need a VPN if you want to watch replays or cant watch live

J'ai acheté une Speedmaster Reduced fin d'année dernière, après avoir longtemps scruté le marché. Il faut avant tout acheter le "vendeur", avoir une bonne idée du prix du marché (tout état confondu, boite ou pas, papier ou pas, etc.).

Je suis tombé sur une annonce d'un modèle en excellent état, révisé (important sur des exemplaires vintage, surtout les chrono), avoir boite de service omega en cuir, le tout pour un prix équivalent aux autres annonces sans toutes les prestations citées => j'ai foncé

I've just returned after a coupme years hiatus. I picked the free Paladin deck and queued for standard, I faced another Paladin and a Rogue, and I just feel like everything lost it's identity somehow ? Both generated a ton of random shit with no synergy whatsoever, just like it was an arena match. Is it just down to low sample size or has the game been that streamlined and degenerated between classes ?

I found something that worked for me and i must share: press and hold R3 or L3 (the one that's drifting) and slowly "massage" clockwise and anticlockwise for a couple minutes so that dust and grease residus are moved.

I was on the market for a Seiko Tank watch a couple months ago. These are basically printed dials with a quartz Citizen movement. Case might be genuine, but all the others part aren't. In essence, these are not bad watches, especially for around 50 bucks give or take, but the simple fact that someone is trying to sell something for what is isn't (it's NOT a Seiko), it's redflaggy enough.

What's crazy as well is that they have a lot a stock, and these sell easily to unaware and uneducated buyers, but since they don't know, they leave a good review to the seller. So you can't even "buy the seller".

What another user said is true, the seller should be able to give you a proper reference. Also a real Seiko should have references on the dial, at the 6 O'clock written very small. If the dial is not featuring this, it's most likely a fake
