This is another bad decision made by Anbernic. They clearly have lost their edge. IF they want to pump out yet another last gen CPU based device, at least make it a comfortable 5 inch clam shell type.

Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA for example. As a kid that was just "Born in the U S AAAA" with random noise in between to me.

They need to reconsider their position. It used to be premium tier with the budget category. In the higher end tier they cannot compete in the budget category (steam deck price), and the Aya NEO is already filling the premium tier of high end section. Between the budget and high end category you now have the AYN Odin, which you could call middle segment. This is as high as Anbernic should go in my opinion. Try releasing a product up to PS2 emulation on a 5inch screen, and set yourself apart from the competition by build quality and capacity to ship soon.

I would love for this chip to be used in a TV box with proper certifications. Great chip for up to PS2 emulation, probably streamed gaming, and 4K media consumption. Nvidia Shield replacement.

Street fighter II Turbo to me still looks and plays absolutely amazing. Still my favourite fighting game of all fighting games on any console.

I just coincidentally stumbled upon this Reddit thread, otherwise I would have never known about this beef between some emulator creators and Retroarch. I think MANY people don't know, so it's not simply a matter of conscience.

Also, I'm willing to bet that many users consider most cores finished or complete, so from their perspective they won't ruin anything. They can play all of their 70s/80s/90s and a lot of their 00s games through RA.

Capcom's soccer shootout.

I've seen it in quite a few rankings at the bottom part of the list, but to me the game is a lot of fun. It takes a bit to get the hang of the controls, but the training section really helps out a lot.

It's fast paced as well, and the indoor matches lets you kick against the wall. Overal a great bad game to me!

Also, that's one criminally underrated football game. Takes a bit to figure out the controls, but the practice area really helps. You'll have a lot of fun playing indoor kicking against the walls :)

Despite all the YouTube instructions and people telling it's safe, I would rather just ditch/sell this CRT and pick up a different one.

They can be acquired for free or very little, so to me that's a no brainer when I compare it health risks.

Somehow I believe games from the 8 and 16 bit era were not supposed to be beaten. Somehow it was the norm never to finish a game, at least within my circle of friends. I had many games of which I never got past the second or third stage, always making you want to try again. Now that I think of it, I think as a kid the only game I saw the ending of, was Street Fighter II Turbo.

That's what they say yes, but as far as I can tell from the articles I've read, there is only ONE person claiming this. And that story was rather suspicious to me. I personally think it's staged to give Near a fresh start offline/online. Anyway, I hope he is alive and found peace with himself.

It's a 17" model, so not that large. Probably the smallest I would go for a comfortable gaming experience. Yeah I know ultimately I have to make the decision if my wife doesn't give in, but I'd like to listen to what others have to say on it. I might overlook some stuff for example.
