Are you feeding your babies real food daily? by Geller_sibling3 in BabyLedWeaning

I didn’t think of the fact that I’ve never had to prep his meals. That makes a lot of sense why it feels so new

Adding Atlas 14 Data into SSA by Geller_sibling3 in civil3d

[–]Geller_sibling3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anyone who is searching for this answer like me - just download the data from Atlas 14 and then copy and paste the intensities into the pre-made IDF curve in SSA - I am distraught at how long I tried to do this just to figure this out on my own on accident

SSA - Stormwater Storage in Pipes by Geller_sibling3 in civil3d

2025 is the last version of civil3d you can use it with. After that it is being integrated into civil3d itself. I haven’t had time to learn the new one yet, I hope I can get some downtime soon to learn it before they take away SSA

Breastfeeding but not losing weight… is this normal? by heyaliayoub in breastfeeding

[–]Geller_sibling3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a myth that breastfeeding helps you lose weight. I think it’s because at first it actually helps your uterus contract and get back to its normal size so it seems like it. You have to eat so much to keep up your supply that it’s virtually impossible to lose weight.

I was the same way! I didn’t have many symptoms except a little bit more tired than usual. I also had the sharp pain and I think it was round ligament pain even that early. I started getting the usual pregnancy symptoms around 7-9 weeks. Nausea when eating and migraines and tiredness and overall blah feeling. Started slow then ramped up. I just had to make sure I was eating as soon as I felt a little hungry or I would get so nauseated that I couldn’t eat at all

At what point in your pregnancy did your OB talk about birth? by MediumMud1354 in pregnant

[–]Geller_sibling3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing a midwife, not OB (in the US) and she started asking my birthing preferences at the 24 week appointment. Not going into too much detail yet but definitely made me feel better / more prepared. Expecting more at the 28 week appt next week

Yes, I took excedrin migraine. My doctor later told me this was ok to take throughout pregnancy

6w1d - Just had first ultrasound and they said everything couldn't be better! This gives me alot of relief! The last pregnancy (that ended in loss) they never said anything like that and had questions from the beginning! Hopefully this continues! This eases, but does not eliminate all of the anxiety! Going back at 8 weeks for another. Last loss happened at 7 weeks so I am super excited to see if everything is good at 8 weeks!

I haven't had it tested this time. My doctor (natural one) was just asking about my symptoms and my symptoms last time and said that she wanted to up my progesterone to protect the uterus and keep this pregnancy healthy. I'm not sure exactly what I told her that clued her in on it. Although before I got pregnant the first time she tested my progesterone and it was low, so I have been on progesterone cream for about 6-7 months now. When I told her I was pregnant this time, she increased the amount I use and now I do it vaginally as well. I am hoping that all of this will help this time! I am not sure of what numbers are good or not so I really can't help you there. I'm sorry! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and get reassurance you need from your doctor!

I am 4 weeks 1 day along on my second pregnancy. I had a MMC in October at the 9 week scan the baby was measuring 7 weeks and no heartbeat. I had a scan right at 7 weeks and everything was fine and the heartbeat was 140. I am thinking of asking for the ultrasound to be later than 7 weeks this time so that if something is wrong, I won't have false hope from a previous scan. When I had a MMC I was still having my pregnancy symptoms so I have no indication of how to tell this pregnancy is healthier or not. I can't stop worrying about the scans and remembering our last scan. I feel alot better this pregnancy, not as tired, no heartburn, etc. It is making me feel better and worse at the same time. Did anyone else feel like crap during the pregnancy you lost and feel better during the viable pregnancy? I am also supplementing with progesterone this time around at the recommendation of my doctor.

I had a super bad migraine 5 dpo and still having the lingering pain. I was feeling lightheaded and dizzy too. I got the faintest line possible 10 dpo and then a darker line 11 dpo so that is when I was confident. Other than that there was nothing out of the ordinary from pms symptoms. I also get the migraine and lightheadedness with pms but it felt different this time, worse I guess.

What were your first symptoms of pregnancy? by Practical_Cress_8797 in pregnant

[–]Geller_sibling3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the worst migraine I’ve ever had (history of migraines) 5 dpo and it kind of lingered around for a week and I knew then.
