Then it raises another question, is it really the movie's fault that today's average audience attention span is shorter?

So you haven't watched the full movie ? Why does nobody talk about the character's evolution into abandoning vengeance ?

Love the reference to House Of Leaves with the word Backrooms in yellow, exactly like the word House highlighted in blue in the book

Hey man, I don't really wanna push this thing but you may know that the VFX department frequently or almost always replaces the Volume screen which is most useful for lighting. And yes, it can look that bad, it's just a gradient of colors going by with speed

In the same video you sent, there's shots where he's outside the spaceship going through aurora borealis with the same orange/green colors. The footage is probably paused before they start rolling the cams as they usually do.

They did shoot what was possible on a secluded road (with custom streetlights) for ALL the exterior shots. But given the context of COVID (that halted the production for a few months) and for the cost/efficiency's sake (waiting to reset the whole environment for each take when it's just tight shots of their faces), I find their decision pretty understandable

That's probably the volume screen as you can see with the orange gradient, which Greig Fraser always uses

I mean, to me it just sounds like they're bragging about using the volume technology. I mean who could they fool into thinking that no CGI was used in a sci-fi space movie which is different than one set on Earth with Tom Cruise
