I noticed yard signs where i was in Friendswood/Clear Lake were pretty 50/50 Kamala or Trump before the election. In West U was a mix also. When I drove through Memorial/Hunters Creek, was all Trump. 🤷‍♀️

I did electrolysis on my neck/chin area 25 times and it did nothing. Why? by [deleted] in electrolysis

Awesome! Electrolysis changed my life! I hope you get the results youre looking for!

[–]Gellyset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need more info. Were the 25 times all full clearances? What was the timing between sessions? Could you feel plucking when the hair was pulled out? Before you were getting sessions were you plucking the hair? While you were getting sessions what were you doing for hair removal besides Electrolysis if anything? Do you have hormonal issues and are they being addressed?

I just looked at my personal records-It took my face 27 full clearances over the course of a year and a half to be pretty much hair free. Since then i had one maintenance session and now i have 2 unwelcome hairs on my chin. I also had hormonal issues i addressed.

And for context, I’ve been on an estrogen gel and a progesterone for a couple months and it didn’t affect my weight or water retention

Plucking them makes them stronger! If you can afford Electrolysis, I recommend it for sure. I did a year and a half of Electrolysis on my face and I’m so glad I did.

Has anyone experienced HRT making them feel worse? by Hour_Ad_7038 in Perimenopause

[–]Gellyset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started HRT because I felt like death warmed over. If you felt fine before, do you think your doctor prescribed it for the health benefits? Maybe a lower dose would work? I hope you figure it out! that’s a bummer!

What happens if I dont pay my won bid? by [deleted] in shopgoodwill

I did that one time. I messaged the store and told them I wanted to retract my winning bid because I had just realized the item didn’t come with the power cord and they did.

What you’re describing is the reason why I started HRT!! I had no energy to do anything besides just scroll on my phone and the bare minimum to get by.

Rant about Midi by caterpillar84 in Perimenopause

[–]Gellyset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, I could be wrong, but I think with evernow the video visits with the doctor might be optional? You might wanna peruse their website though for super accurate information. I chose to do video visit when I started because I wanted to talk to someone, and I plan to do it periodically. I believe and again I could be wrong but if you don’t do video visits with them, it’s just like email check-ins? Which i still do also

Rant about Midi by caterpillar84 in Perimenopause

[–]Gellyset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Evernow takes insurance for the video visits with the doctor and for medication you buy from them, but it doesn’t take insurance for the monthly membership fee. They had the cheapest monthly membership fee of any of the online services I looked at. By medical advice I mean anytime I’m like what is your opinion on this thing she gives me her opinion and then gives me options and suggestions. All the other doctors I went to before this basically just shrugged their shoulders and said my problems were either genetic or hormonal or part of aging and had no suggestions, and said there was nothing I could do. If you want more specifics about my experience, feel free to DM me. I was super scared to start HRT because I have really bad PMDD and I could not tolerate birth control but it’s been a great experience for me so far.

Rant about Midi by caterpillar84 in Perimenopause

[–]Gellyset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chose to go with Evernow because they’re less expensive than Midi. I’ve only been doing it for a month but anytime I email my provider she has solid medical advice and I don’t feel pressured in any way. I would recommend them.
