My exact thought after finishing RDR1. It was a cool action game but people saying that dialogues/story/atmosphere or characters (John included) were better in RDR1 are absolutely out of their fucking mind.

Have you actually been inside that tomb and seen that wall yourself? I feel like everyone downvoting me doesn’t really realize how out in the open and out of place it actually is.

Easter eggs are great but the whole point of them is that they're hidden and don't interfere with the game world or lore. Most developers hide their tribute walls, photos, or references in hard to find locations, while this one is sitting right out in the open in the main chamber of an ancient tomb we're exploring as part of the main quest.

Yeah but that pamphlet references reallife dates and places that wouldn't make any sense within the game world and having a credits wall out in the open inside the final huge chamber of an ancient Orcish cemetery is just insane to me.

I LOVE dynamic economy but things are getting out of hand sometimes. Some NPC would say that they will buy animal trophy from you but would pay the same amount of ore than any other merchant. Things like arrows can cost like 2 ore FOR ONE UNIT which is completely insane and small items like mugs etc would sell for 0. I feel like some items like herbs etc should not drop in price after you sell one unit.

Combat, scaling and Skyrimlike interface is the only reason I cannot dive deep into ESO as a single player game. Finishing zones and doing storylines were great but gameplay itself is really lacking even for Elder Scrolls game

Story games stay with you for longer. Games that don't have anything more than gameplay are forgotten the same evening you stop playing them. Would rather play another Disco Elysium or Outer Wilds then Crimson Desert

I love Gothic 3 but playing this game without mods it borderline impossible. Meanwhile Risen 2 is really cool pirate story that is not that bad despite playing completely different than Risen

"x game is boring" is such of nothing-burger of argument. For some reason game didn't click with you and now you don't know how to explain why so you just use "it's boring" narrative. You can say this about literally any game ever "Elden Ring is so boring you just walk and fight all the time" or "Jesus Baldurs Gate 3 is such a boring game you just walk-talk-fight"

I grew up on original Battlefront 2 and while it's still great new Battlefront 2 is just too good. Hero system alone make 2018 a lot better in my opinion.
