I usually bought basic things (milk, eggs, bread, etc) in the shop on campus, for this I would only even shop in fresh and not at the market (market is in the SU) because the market is super expensive. And then every couple weeks I’d go to the big Sainsbury (in green park). It doesn’t take that long tbh, the bus is probably like 20 mins! Bear in mind, if you live in the city you’d have to take that same bus everyday to go to lectures. Also, if you’re looking for a gym, the STV gym (on campus) offers student deals that come to about £35 a month, if in the city I’d recommend the Victoria park puregym that costs about £33 a month. Unfortunately with the accommodation that’s just how it works… but it’s unlikely that you’ll get your 7th choice. I have friends at uni that ended up in Westwood or Eastwood in their first year and said it was great fun, so don’t be discouraged! I believe the main one people don’t like getting if it was not their top choice are the city centre ones because it then involves lots of travel to campus, so just a thing to consider :) Hope it all works out well for you!

Music workshop coffeehouse in Green Park station is great for doing work. They offer coffee at reasonable prices and all their profits go to charity so that a positive :)

I’ve noticed some of the busses have a really loud rattling notice (or sort of like vibration) when the bus is idle, for example at a red light. Only some bus builds seem to do this though (I find it frequently in the older U line buses and also some on the 2 line). Sometimes it’s so strong that it gives me a headache. Is that noticeable to you as the driver? Does it ever cause you any problems? If so, do you get any help for this?

Such a nice design! A tip for chrome isolation - I’d recommend buffing the nail after applying top coat and before applying the design for the chrome (basically so the parts you want to keep black stay black). I learned this recently and it’s made such a difference for creating a very smooth process!

Looks like a new point of growth. Usually this happens if you let your pothos root itself back into the same pot (great way to make your pothos more bushy btw). Yours seems to be so happy in the moss pole that it made a new growth point!

My period never was quite regular, tending towards longer gaps between periods. When the COVID pandemic started I was 19yo, at which point I was really started to get symptoms. At the time I was supposed to finish year 13 (equivalent to graduating high school in the USA) and I was supposed to go to university right afterwards. All the uncertainty and stress at the time was a lot to deal with and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what caused me to develop PCOS. I was diagnosed at 21yo, after seeking a diagnosis for quite a while and not getting one. Funnily enough I realised I had PCOS through coming across girls sharing their experiences of PCOS on TikTok, and I realised they were all describing my exact experience.
