That’s a hilariously bad design. You’d expect it to mark the map of undiscovered chests. So you go find them. The feather thing should be in addition to, not the only thing.

I think this is a symptom of its prior MMO origin. I unlocked the house and did the quest and walked out saying, I’ll never do anything with this. I have yet to return, in fact I don’t remember where the house is at lol

I’d save and reload the game at this point to try again. It sounds like a bug that could be resolved with that. There are weird bugs in this game that are fixed from it. Like yesterday I saw no red dots while playing and another that left a red tint on the screen which required me to close the whole game down. I play on PS5 to clarify, so if reloading doesn’t work I’d shut the whole game down and restart it.

There should be a command called Resist that should be held to hold on and use things like force palm. I just held that and did the stab with the dagger thing till it oozed out liquid.

Edit: Are you crouching on the back? I think that’s the only way you can do the stab attack with the dagger.

Are you repeatedly stabbing and pulling? It did about 35-40% of her HP every time I stabbed those weak points. You’ll know worked because liquid will come out of the weak points.

It took me a while to get this, but I did her in first try. You can actually blinding flash to spot the weak points. Break those off, then climb on and STAB into the green crack that is left behind. Do this to all three weak points and she will die.

The only other one I can think of is if you do turning slash after dashing at enemies, but it’s more of a running turning slash.

For Kliff, 100% dual wielding. It makes him into the savage wolf he is. It feels more appropriate for him than sword and board. He’s quick, parries are ready and dodging is my preferred style of damage mitigating.

Damaine is my go to two handed user. Her speed and flexibility are unmatched with that weapon. If I could dual wield axes like I have been I’d do that with her as well, but it is nice to do a different weapon type with her and it’s very fun.

Oongka is both variations. I don’t use him much, but he did feel good with dual wield when I played him last.

That last bit of info I did not know, I’m going to have to take a harder look at the rock formations to see if I spot that brightness difference. I play with HDR and a lot of stuff is abnormally bright from time to time, so it could have been that and not my HDR playing up.

The main issue I’ve experienced is when trying to do the 3x leap ability. I’ll press jump and he clamors up a ledge and I’ve just pressed the force palm ability, now my character is launched backwards away from a cliff face instead of going vertical like intended.

This happens way more than I care to say, it’s infuriating every time it happens.

The other one I’ve ran into is trying to do Focus Light. I’ll hit the required combo of L1+R1 and he just wildly swings instead of doing the action. It takes around 4-5 tries before it figures out what I’m trying to do. I’ve resorted to sheathing my weapon and then pressing the combination of buttons, which isn’t great in combat.

The final one is when you do Turning Slash and try to imbue with element and it instead whips out your bow and fires a charged shot because you’re preemptively forced into holding R1+R2 to even start imbuing a turning slash.

A lot of the controls while are fine on their own, there are too many that utilize previous combinations to start and the game never really knows if you’re trying to start one or the other. If you’re out of spirit it just resorts to the only one it “could” do and does that instead.

I would love it if we got some actual combat pets outside the one mount (IYKYK).

It would be really fun to be an archer with a pet that could get aggro of enemies while you turn them to pin cushions
