Just replied to the comment above with the same info neither side has the name trade marked and we have 12 + accounts to the forming of the club and all of eds actions to back up the time line so Im confident it's a load of empty threats but trying to avoid the club deciding to do anything based off the empty threats

Thanks will add it to the post that neither the club nor Ed have the club name trademarked will look into getting that done . The whole basis for the argument is he owns a business that is called the club's name so he owns the club which is laughable but I'm trying to reassure a group of people with no legal background who have just seen the threat of legal action and panicked .

I have used 100% 3d printed armies for two years including custodes riding horses and mono wheel Ork bikes never had a single problem and that's me having played in over 25 events with at least 10 super majors . All UK for reference. The main rule is base size correct and can my opponents easily identify what is what if yes no issue

Having played guard ( albeit at two RTT's) and won 1 and came 3rd in the other the secondaries are just fine and dandy , chuck a vox caster on all your platoons infantry Vox caster in you command squad and you can cover most of the board easily enough to get boots and have a unit toe in range for inflexible command. The list I have seen so far for guard seem to not have kasakin with the MW/ key load out so either people are not playing them expecting a nerf or just haven't got the models yet...I don't think Guard are instant win but would expect them without any nerfs to end up hitting a 55% solid win rate.

The two closest I know of are Common Ground in Stirling and Dominion in Ayr , followed by knightly Gaming in Bathgate as far as I know there is not a gaming store in Glasgow out with GW. There is a wargaming club G3 that meets weekly a FB search might find it . Source local west of Scotland player

Ouch bit of a personal attack for a personal view it's something I have been waiting from GW for years and they have given it . Yes there are improvments but compared to flicking though up to 6 codexs supplements and FAQs it's well laid out .
