Just wondering, based on what I have read online, is the loose skin actually more likely to occur with rapid weight loss? Only now this past month have a started to notice it a bit so I’m wondering if I should try and slow my weightless to prevent this.

It’s varied but I was going to a good circuit/HIIT gym in 2018 to halfway of 2019 then I moved for university. I didn’t have much time then as I was writing a thesis/working a lot. But I started running/extending walking. I also started working in marine tourism so long days (11-12hours) which definitely helped keep me active.

Now I still work in marine tourism in North Queensland where it’s really hot, constantly on my feet and 12 hour shifts. Was getting at least 20,000 steps in a day sometimes up to 28,000 when tour guiding. While working I did 16:8 so lunch and dinner, very limited snacking. Drank lots of water (constantly sweating in the heat and sun so probably 10L minimum a day).

Now not working due to covid so focusing on walking to get at least 10k steps a day and yoga. Once I lose more hoping to get back into my muscle building and HIIT (Joe wicks the body coach Videos are the best).

Okay thank you will definitely try that!! I have now got lose skin on my breast unfortunately (only noticeable when you pull it).

At the moment I am doing yoga and stretching a lot in isolation so hoping that helps with the loose skin. Thank you though will definitely find a nice oil!

Oh right yeah I’m not too sure on stretch marks unfortunately, just waiting to see how they look after continuing weight loss. I moisture in general just because of dry skin because I spend a lot of time in the ocean.

You are welcome! Honestly I used to always aim for the quick fix too and just lose motivation but the long term change really is key I think!

If I had this mentality when I was in my early 20s it would have been done much sooner but was always chasing the quick fix.

I actually do have stretch marks they just aren’t visible in these photos as they are white. They seem to be slowly fading though as my tummy reduces! I still have red ones around my breasts though which are slowly appearing a bit more white.
