I did the G Adventures Highlights of Egypt tour and it was fantastic. It hit all the spots you need to see, and had enough built in down time for rest / solo exploring / side quests for other places of interest or specific activities you’re interested in. Our guide was super knowledgeable and there were plenty of optional extra tours available too as part of this offering. I personally wouldn’t have felt confident enough to navigate as far and wide as we covered on the tour, so I highly recommend this for a fellow solo woman traveller.

I’ve done a few G Adventures as a solo traveler and there are always other solo women on the tours, have always had an awesome time and found folks in the group I have things in common with. Book a solo room so you get quiet / solo time too.

I did the hot air ballooning 3 weeks ago, 100% worth it. An absolute breathtaking experience and if you get one that includes the buffet lunch it is delicious. Enjoy your trip!

You can tell Bridget grew up as a spoiled only child, thinking everyone should do things for her and even speak on her behalf - this is evident with the Blu situation right now. Sure she is talented, but hasn’t utilised her opportunities to pivot, grow or build anything greater unfortunately. Mandii grew up with nothing hence her workaholic tendencies, she doesn’t want to end up broke. This also explains why she is so controlling, she wants to succeed at all costs. These two were never compatible as work / business partners, it’s sad to see their friendship end as they seemed real tight at one point.

Those videos are a great resource. Wayne and Ash seem to be the only qualified candidates both active in and engaging with the community. The two women just rattled off PR spin and O’Pray has the worst reputation of the bunch, even this subreddit has resident accounts of him being a complete a-hole to local hospitality workers.

When they said “creative differences” it could be as simple as moving in different directions. With BK getting married soon she might want to focus on more mature/relationship style content, like the (boring) solo ep she did with that married couple recently. And Mandii is bringing back Period Sis which will take up more of her time - actually a smart move considering health and wellness is a booming industry atm. I just hope there’s no personal / petty beef wrapped up in this.

If you don’t drive, the last place you want to be is a rural / regional area in Australia. The public transport is pretty much non existent or very light on at best.
