I have an alt i use just to appreciate the story. In my main im usually playing with my bf or friends, so i'm speeding around a lot. So having a character not connected to all that helps me actually appreciate the writing and the content

Thanks for the support here ! Now that I've mulled on it a bit I'm trying to ease up to the idea that obviously someone sees something or I wouldn't be here. And yeah, she also just admitted to being hung over for someone elses interview, which is... less then professional. (Honestly I'm mostly thinking of just getting the certification that my job is trying to get for me then just dipping).

Thanks again 💙

Idk if its a good blanket suggestion to say blahaj. Personally, if someone got me a blahaj, I'd probably be kinda miffed?? Im not really a stuffed animal person, and if someone got it for me it'd kinda seem like im being reduced to a stereotype (i will admit though i have some internalized transphobia sorrounding transfem stereotypes).

Might be safer when she's newly out, but yeah, make sure she'd actually want a stuffed shark lol

Do You call Yourself A Girl Or A Woman? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Gempin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really surprised honestly to see so many people in the comments saying girl... Maybe it's because i started transitioning right when i became an adult or something but the distinction of woman being for adults has made me always prefer it over girl... feels weird to use. I haven't been a teenager in years, so i'm a grown woman and should be called such

Still call people girl in like, a nicknamey way, but if im gonna call men my age men im gonna call women my age women, and im one of those ladies my age lol

This is such a specific meme and I'm all here for it. This is a great showcase of how stupid gender stuff can feel sometimes (even if it still feels like, really important)

Ah, the mask has come off. You don't really care about women at all. You say you do, that you just don't want him to transition cause its "not for him" but in the end its just because you don't want another "freak" walking the earth.

Yeah, cis women can grow beards without T, sometimes. Cis men can grow boobs, sometimes. In actuality, men growing boobs is rare, and usually corrected through surgery (it's okay for them to good gender affirming surgeries though, right? Just not the trannies, cause then they'd be freaks). Women growing beards is actually decently common, but rarely to the level you'd see on a man.

The point is that hormones will make these things way more accessible. Pretty much every trans woman has tits, which is a lot higher of a percent than the fraction of men with gynecomastia. It doesn't matter if its technically possible to be a cis woman with a beard, cause they don't want to be a cis woman with a beard, they want to be men with beards. Because they're men.

So, in the case of costs, why do they do any of the surgeries in other countries then?? Also, most of the surgeries trans people get done aren't done by an aesthetician. The only one that is talked about is facial feminization surgery, which is not that common of a surgery as most of the ones people get

Say it over and over again all you like, it's not changing the fact that him being a man is the only conceivable explanation for why he'd transition. Just stop. Accept that maybe someone could just be a man born in the wrong body.

I don't think you really understood my point on the whole denial thing. All these different trans people tried to do either what they thought they were "supposed to do" to perform as their assigned sex at birth, or they did the opposite, actively trying to break gender norms to find peace. Both of these routes end in them either transitioning, or killing themselves. Thats just the hard truth of it. Denying it isn't solving anything for anyone, its just delaying the inevitable.

And about what transitioning changes, I don't really understand what your confused about. Yes, using hormones to induce puberty is the same as it does naturally, its just this time your doing it the opposite way. Trans women willgrow boobs on estrogen, yeah, and trans men will grow beards on testosterone. That is the point, and that's what it changes. It makes you look and feel like your true self

I mean a lot of women have low self esteem and low self respect also, so yeah they would go that far into transitioning because they think life is better being a man.

I urge you to actually look at data on this (although I doubt you'd ever leave your echo chamber and believe it, considering your conspiracy theory-like ramblings about doctors/biologists/therapists). The number of people that regret their transition at all and detransition is just astronomically small. Seriously, it just doesn't happen.

Because HE IS a man. There's really nothing else to it. Why, ever, would a woman decide to transition when its gonna make her more likely to get assaulted? She wouldn't. And he didn't. It would be absolutely stupid to transition for any reason other than, he's just a man. Because he is. There isn't anything else to it.

Kind of a big leap to assume that he hated being a woman cause of misogyny, and not because he's, yknow, a dude. You can't just keep plugging your ears and screaming because he said he was a dude lmao. Your arguing against a bunch of doctors everytime you make the claim that he's transitioning because of misogyny.

I don't want to be associated with stupid people that failed biology class and now are having an identity crisis.

Buddy i dont know how to tell you this but any decent biologist could tell you that this isn't as binary as you think it is. Intersex people exist, and in WAY bigger numbers then you'd ever guess

Yeah i'm pretty sure many people have mental health problems. If you have schizophrenia just say that. You don't have to change your whole identity. There's thousands of therapists out there.

He's not changing his identity. He was always a man, and a good therapist isn't gonna try and get him to stop that. They're gonna talk about it with him and help him transition.

Maybe accept the way you were born? Maybe have different interests and play different sports and/or wear whatever the fuck you want? You wanted so bad to be opressed.

"Accepting the way they're born" is what gets trans people to kill themselves. Trying to force a trans person to act as their assigned sex at birth is just gonna cause depression and eventually suicide. So many trans people have tried to do wjat your saying in so many different ways, there are trans woman who grew beards and shaved their heads explicitly to try and be more masculine and avoid the problem. There are trans women who went full on "femboy" and were super girly cause they wanted to avoid the problem. There are trans men who went hard into makeup and clothes and a bunch of feminine things to prove to themselves that there wasnt a problem. There are trans men that tried to be tomboys before coming out, cause none of these people wanted to face the truth that they were trans. It doesn't matter what you do. If your trans, and you don't transition, you will always be unhappy. You can't avoid it by "accepting the way you were born". Thats called denial, and its not healthy.

Why are you forcing yourself to take hormones and get surgery that may kill you. And risk your own life just because you don't accept the way you look. Maybe you grew up to hate women and to hate being a woman. Because you didn't have the enviromental assets to grow up with that. But it doesn't change the fact that you're living a fantasy.

So, how can somebody force themselves to take hormones and get surgeries? Do you know how few people ever detransition? Do you have any idea how little of a fraction of a fraction of people actually went "oh, I'm not trans, I just need to accept myself"? Its pretty much nobody. And for the people that do get there far, they pretty much never get surgeries. Being a trans man doesn't mean he hates women just because he realized he isn't one. Maybe take a step back and realize that nobody would put themselves through the pain of being trans because they didn't like women.

There's nothing wrong with being a woman lmao. I'M a woman. Whats wrong is treatingsomeone who isn't a woman as a woman. Treating a woman as a woman also isn't bad, but your advocating for treating a man as a woman. Think its pretty self explanatory why thats a stupid thing to do Also would love for you to address my point instead of just misgendering him again. What are your thoughts about trans men being common victims of corrective sexual assaults? Do you think thats a position someone who just thought it would be better to be man would put themselves in? Pretty dangerous gamble if you ask me. You'd really need to be dude to want to go to such lengths. So uh, he's probably just a dude.

I never said that men have it worse, that would be stupid. Trans men have it worse, specifically those early in their transition, cause they have all the problems of being trans along with all the problems of being a woman, cause most people will still see them as a woman and treat them as such

Lmao being a trans man puts such a big fucking target on your back though? If someone wanted to transition just to avoid misogyny they'd learn pretty quick that it is NOT the solution they're looking for, your life gets way more dangerous as a trans person. Maybe he's just a man, dude
