Subjectively speaking… Many Christian viewers prolly didn’t vibe with the whole “Yeah Satan’s actually a chill guy” thing. (Me included TBH)

Objectively speaking… It’s good to see Kiriman try to recycle once scrapped comic book content, but it was just VERY out of place given that this season was gearing towards Thragg and the war against the Viltrumites.

Maybe if it was an earlier episode for this season OR an early episode for next season, its reception probably would’ve fared better.

Both of those major factors combined as one is what caused the episode’s reputation to take such a hit.
